At lunch you sat with Midoriya, Iida, and Uraraka because Tsu was busy with something and Kaminari and Jirou were sitting with Kirishima and Bakugo. You almost sat with them, but Midoriya asked you to join their group first.
"Ugh, it's always so crowded in here!" Uraraka groaned.
"That's because the hero courses all share the same cafeteria." Iida explained helpfully. Satisfied with the answer, Uraraka began eating her rice with gusto.
"This rice is delicious!"
"I know, right? The food at my junior high was nasty!" You agreed.
"Ugh, guys I'm kind of worried about the class rep thing, I don't think I'm qualified." Midoriya worried aloud. At least he wasn't shaking anymore.
"Sure you are!" Uraraka exclaimed
"You'll be great." Iida confirmed.\
"Yeah, it's not like you're Bakugo or something." You didn't vote for him, but you definitely agreed with the others. Midoriya had buckets of potential.
"Yeah, your courage and quick thinking under stress will help make you a worthy leader, not to mention the strength you've demonstrated. Those are the reasons I voted for you at least." Of course Iida voted for him! You were willing to bet Uraraka did too.
"You were one of the three?" Midoriya asked.
"Didn't you want to be rep really badly? I mean, you do look the part. Cause of the glasses."
"The glasses?" You resisted the urge to laugh at Uraraka's comment.
"Wanting a job and being suited to it are quite different things. Observing the Iida family's hero agency had taught me that much."
"Agency?" The three of you asked Iida simultaneously.
"Hold on, what does your family do?" Midoriya asked.
"Ugh? Oh, uh. It's nothing." You squinted at Iida. He was hiding something.
"You know, I've been wondering something about you. Admit it Iida, you're filthy rich!" It seemed Uraraka hit the mark, since Iida sighed in disappointment.
"Ugh! I was afraid people would treat me differently if they knew about my family." The three of you stared at him intently, waiting for him to clarify. It was kind of obvious though. "You see, the Iidas have been pro heroes for generations. It runs in our blood."
"What? That's awesome!" Midoriya and Uraraka exclaimed.
"Yeah, that's super cool, Iida." You affirmed.
"Are the two of you familiar with the Turbo hero Ingenium?"
"I know all about him! He's a super popular pro with 65 sidekicks working alongside him at his Tokyo agency!" Midoriya was fanboying a little bit. "Don't tell me," he paled in realization.
"He's my elder brother!" He proudly put his hands on his hips. You could tell Iida really admired him.
"You're family's famous!" Uraraka screeched.
"I can't believe it!" Midoriya might not believe it, but you certainly did. It made a certain amount of sense. Iida was strict and straight, exactly like you imagined someone like him would be.
"Ingenium is an unmatched commander who honors the hero code. As the second oldest Iida son, I strive to be just like him. However, I think it might be a bit soon for me to be in a real leadership roll. You for example, you figured out what the judges were looking for in the practical exam. A rep needs that sort of insight."
