Birthday Surprise

Marthe was on an important trip for work as couldn't make it back in time for my birthday but promised to do something with me when she got back. Today is my Birthday and I planned a party with my friends at home.
All-day we ate so much food and played Nintendo games on the tv. It was so much fun but all day I couldn't help but think of Marthe. I miss her so much. Every time someone would talk to me or anything I would smile and not gonna lie I love my friends and happy but my smile never met my eyes because the one person I wanted most wasn't here. I tried my best to enjoy myself and try not to think of how Marthe wasn't here but I couldn't because I could never stop thinking of her. My friends all kept trying to keep me occupied knowing if I wasn't I would be sad thinking about her. When the time came that they were going to being out my cake I was distracted trying my best to play a game on Mario Party, I was so concentrated I didn't realize what was happening until they started to sing the happy birthday song. Someone paused the game and I looked over seeing someone taking video, my face went red embarrassed not expecting it. My eyes lit up at the rainbow cake. I got up and went to the spot we planned to cut the cake. One of my friends shouted "Speach!" instantly my anxiety kicked in and I started sweating stressed. "Um..thank you all for coming it means a lot. Ok I'm done now." I said loud enough for everyone to hear and the last part when they looked at me expecting me to say more. (Little did I know Marthe was in the kitchen trying to hold in her laugh.) After I made my wish and everyone took pictures with me, one of my closest friends made me take a picture with a picture of Marthe. My face was red just looking at the picture she choose. My friends were all laughing at my reaction while I wanted to hide my face in my hands. Next thing I know I had handed over my eyes and a voice I knew all too well said next to my ear "What did you wish for?" Her voice sent a shiver down my spine and my heartbeat quickened. "Marthe!" I said as I quickly turned around and hugged her tight. I started to cry a bit so grateful she was here. I heard her chuckle and say "I missed you too." as she kissed my head. I heard everyone "Awwww!" I blushed totally forgetting we were not alone. I pull away from the hug and Marthe leans down to kiss my lips. I blush like mad when we pull away while I slowly turn to look army friends. They are all giving me either 😏 or 🥺faces. I look at them with 🥰🙈face. After Marthe and I take our unlimited amount of photos Marthe takes the icing on her finger and spreads it on my forehead then exclaims "Simba!" Everyone including me laughs. "Please tell me someone took a video off that!"😂 I exclaim wanting that memory on video. Marthe then takes the living off my forehead with her finger and puts it in her mouth "Mmm that's some good cake!" I then eat a piece of my slice of cake exclaiming "Omg your right it's so good😌. Even though you only ate the icing." she gives me a look that told me 'I know. Do you really have to roast me though?' I just laugh at her expression. Best surprise ever!
