Aquarium

I haven't really gone to the aquarium just by myself ever and I felt like having some me time. I knew already that I would probably be stuck at the seahorse tank for the longest because I love seahorses. While I was walking though the aquarium I spot a girl who intrigued me, she looked gorgeous and was giving out random facts to her friends who sadly looked like they weren't really paying attention to her. She didn't look very bothered that they were purposefully ignoring her either that or she just didn't show it. Progressively while walking through the aquarium I get more and more annoyed at her so called friends. I look over at her so many times I kinda forget why I came to the aquarium in the first place today. When I finally noticed I decided to look around and see the marine life not wanting to stick my nose in someone else's business. As I walk I start to spot the signs pointing towards the seahorses and I get more and more excited. I quickly glance through the jellyfish just wanting to get to the seahorses. When I finally get there I spot the girl I saw earlier alone and looking into the seahorse tank in awe. I feel my heart pound a little seeing her. I was also trying not to crush too hard too fast but also failing. I go closer to the tank and stand next to her and say "Their so fascinating, aren't they?" I saw her jump a little probably not expecting anyone to come next to her. Before I apologise she responds with "Um yea they are...Did you know that seahorses prefer to swim in pairs with their tails linked together?" She says while still looking into the tank. I smile at how smart I think she is but she didn't see it and immediately after said "Sorry.." I look over at her with a questioning face and say "Why are you apologising first being smart?" Her face changes from apologetic to slight shock in a span of seconds at what I just said. "Well my so called 'friends' ditched me because the thought my fun facts were annoying." She says in a fed up tone. "Well if they don't appreciate it the their not real friends." I say trying to hide how annoyed I already was at them. "Hey Um wanna walk around together? I would love to know more fun facts." I say actually kinda excited to learn more and also to spend time with her. She smiles at me with an excited and grateful smile. "Are you sure? Sometimes I have too many and it gets annoying for most people." She says in an insecure tone probably because she has been left by so many mean people. "Well I'm not most people. I would love to know more about anything and please slot in some fun facts about yourself too." I say the last part without thinking and I instantly blush wanting to hide from embarrassment. But when she giggled my heart fluttered and I look at her, my crush on her already developing fast. And I thought 'oh no..I'm fucked.' "I'm Marth by the way.😉" she smiles at me and says "I'm Y/N.🥰"
