[ Inspired by that one scene in Atypical ]

Y/N POV
I tagged along with a bunch of people I barley knew to this club and before I could even pick who to stick with I found myself alone. They had already dispersed to who knows where instantly. With a heavy sigh I decided that they wouldn't be the ones to spoil my night so I got myself a drink at the bar. After a while eyes wondering throughout the crowd my eyes locked with beautiful brown ones. I felt my heart beat quicken when our gaze didn't break which helped confirm that she was actually looking at me. My eyes widen a bit when I realise she's walking over to me. I stay seated afraid if I stood up she might just make a detour and she wasn't really looking at me. But when she got to me she got a bit closer than I expected and whispered in my ear "Come dance with me." When she pulled away my face was flushed red having felt her breath on my ear as she spoke. I nod my head not knowing how to use my voice at that moment. She then took my hand and led me towards the middle of the dance floor. When we got to the middle suddenly I felt self conscious and I felt like everyone was staring at me. I'm guessing she saw my slight panicked expression and came closer to me, "Hey it's ok. Just look at me." She said softly to me. Her soothing voice snapped me out of my clouded thoughts and I focused on just her. The song then changed to a song I recognised called Yoko Uno by Moby Rich. She stated right into my eyes as she danced to it with me trying to do the minimal not really knowing how to dance. As she danced she got really close to me so close if we got any closer our lips would touch. I knew my face was flushed as my eyes look back and forth from her eyes to her lips wanting so bad to kiss them. She started to lean in closer about to kiss me but someone tapped on her shoulder interrupting out moment. Just as our moment was destroyed so did my trance like state. Suddenly I realised we weren't the only two people on this dance floor and there were people all around us. When she finished talking with the guy who tapped her shoulder she turns back to me and says "Sorry about that but I need to take care of something I'll be right back." "It's ok I kinda need to use the restroom anyways." I say honestly actually needing to go. "Oh ok I'll meet you there after. Their that way by the way." She says pointing over to the right side of the club. "Oh thanks." I say then walk off in that direction. 'She must come here quite often then.' I thought since she seems to know the place so well. I went to the bathroom and did my business but when I came out I saw a bunch of guys near by. I tried not to look scared and stood at one side to wait for her to come find me. While I looked out at the crowd trying to find her suddenly my vision is blocked by someone's chest. I look up and see one of the men I saw earlier looking down at me with a smirk. Instantly fear clouds my vision and I start to panic on the inside. The man then puts his arms on either side of me so that I couldn't even have the option to leave. He the slowly leans down as if to kiss me and all I could do was turn my head as far away as I could while tears threaten to spill from my eyes. I felt stupid that my voice was stuck in my throat and even if I wanted to scream I couldn't. Before he could get any closer though someone shouted "Hey buddy get off of her, she clearly wants nothing to do with you." The guy turns around to look at the person and shouts back "Mind your own business." "This is my business so leave her alone." The woman shouts back. "Fuck off." The guy says then turns back to me trying to grab my arm. "Get out!" She yells. "What the fuck man. Why you talking like you own the place. Stop trying to act so brave and shit, fuck off!" He yells back done with arguing. "That's because I do asshole. Security!" She says calmly with confidence. Three men then run up to her and say "Yes Ms Woertman?" "He harassed her so please throw him and his friends out and make sure he never steps foot into this club again." She says with authority in her tone. The men grab the guy and his friends to the exit. When they were gone she comes up to me and hugs me and asks "Hey are you ok?? Sorry I didn't get here earlier." I hug her back tight scared what could have happened if she didn't show up at all. "No it's ok I'm just glad you came. Thank you for saving me back there." When I calmed down more she then said running my back "Hey come on let's go hang out at the VIP area so you can calm down and I can get to know you more." We pull away from the hug and she leads me to the VIP area hand holding mine. "Ms Woertman huh?" I ask softly in amusement. "Call me Marth." She says with a smile that made my heart do flips. "I'm Y/N." I say excited to get to know her more already.
