Marthe and I decided it would be a good idea to go to the park today to get some fresh air because we were at home for a while week before. While we were walking through the park I spotted a playground. Yes yes I'm 21 and technically an adult but there weren't many people there. "Omg look! Let's go!" I exclaim excitedly and pointing towards the playground. I then start running towards the playground. Before Marthe could even respond to my childishness I had already ran off. Marthe chuckled and shook her head then ran after me. I went right to the swings first and because Marthe was a lot faster than me when she reached me I had only just sat down. She started pushing me so I got high enough then sat on the one next to me. After a while we stopped and I went over to the slides. As I was about to slide down when I heard a thump followed by an "Ow" I look behind me to see Marthe with a hand on her head. "Omg are you ok?" I say quickly turning away from the slide and towards her.  "Yea yea I'm ok haha you know me clumsy as always." She responds laughing it off. "You sure?" I ask still concerned knowing that thump was pretty loud. "Yes yes I'm good." Marthe says not very convincingly but I let it go. "Ok if you say so." I say then place a small kiss on her head. I then turn back around and slide down. I wait at the end for Marthe to slide down too and when she does I let out a loud laugh seeing how fast she came down. "Omg hahah I'm sorry I forgot for a sec how tall you are."🤣 she gave me a 😑expression in response. When I finally calmed down from my laughter I got an idea of one part of the playground that she could still play at not bothering about her height. "Oh I know!" I exclaim then run off again before Marthe could question what it was. Marthe sighed then chuckled then ran after me again. I was trying to get up the spider web climber(idk what it might be called for you...) to get a head start knowing Marthe would beat me in no time. When Marthe caught up to me she said "Hey that's cheating." While laughing at me. "I'm short and I don't have much strength." I say sticking out my tongue. I barley got half way up and when I looked to where Marthe was I didn't see her so I looked to the top and see her sitting at the top comfortably waiting for me. "I know I know I'm slow." I say annoyed in a joking tone. When I finally got to the top instead of seeing Marthe smirking down at me she was wincing and had a hand on her head. My eyes widen in fear as I quickly got up there and held her head in my hands. "Baby are you ok?!" "Yea yea I think I just stared into the sun too long." She says trying to play it cool. "Marthe stop that I know your head hurts from bumping it earlier. It might be hurting more because of your not too recent concussion." I say firmly knowing there was no end to Marthe trying to act tough and saying she's ok when she really isn't. "When you feel a bit better we'll get down from here and head home ok?" Marthe left her head down and sighed. "What's on your mind?" I ask knowing it would eat her up inside if she didn't talk about it. "It's nothing really." She says trying to brush it off as nothing. "Marthe." I say in a stern tone. She sighs again then says "I ruined our day out." I put my hand on her shoulder and say "Hey you didn't ruin the day. Any time with you is amazing even if your clumsy." And smile at her lovingly. "I really hate being clumsy sometimes." Marthe says in a defeated tone. "Hey, I love you for you. I love everything about you, even your clumsy side." I say seriously wanting my words to get through to her. Marthe sighs then smiles at me "What would I do without you?" Marthe says lovingly. "Hmm probably have Julie or Lorena tell you the same thing." I say. "Neither of them would run towards a playground all excited like you though." Marthe points out. "That is not wrong." I say in a matter of factly tone. We both start laughing. After a few more minutes Marthe started to feel a little better so we made our way down. And had a slow walk home with intertwined hands🥰
