Imagine Marthe and I met a week before the whole virus thing started and we have had gone on like 2 dates but because of quarantine we couldn't meet up. We texted everyday until one day I was lazing around in bed, just woken up like 10 mins ago when I get a text from Marthe saying she wants to FaceTime. I almost sent a sure but quickly deleted what I had typed before sending it. I instead replied 'But I look like a potato 🥔 rn..' she replied with 'I don't care I just wanna see you!' I said fine and started to make my hair look less like a mess. I then see the notification that Marthe is calling me on FaceTime. I panic a bit but answer the call. As I'm distracted trying to fix my hair the call starts and Marthe sees me struggling. She chuckles and says "Hey don't worry about your hair. You look beautiful." I gave her the I don't believe you look and say "I literally look like a potato I just woke up." She then gave a 🤨look and said "Dayum you woke up like that?!" I blush and laugh at how stupid that sounded "😂your an idiot." I say laughing. "But I'm your idiot." I stop laughing for a moment realising what she said and asked "Is that how you ask me to be your girlfriend?" I say in a slightly serious tone. "Haha no. Will you be my girlfriend?" She then asks more seriously. "You sure you want a potato as your girlfriend?" I ask jokingly first then laugh and said "Yes of course!" While blushing like crazy.
