Scavenger Hunt

Today was a pretty lazy day but haven't gotten a text from Marth yet which wasn't out of the ordinary just well she usually texts me a lot. So I decided I would text her "Hey baby! What are you up to today?" Five minutes later I got a reply from her saying "Not much..just woke up not too long ago. How about you?" Instead of answering her question I text back "Baby..it's 3pm why are you still in bed?" She just replied with "👀" this emoji. Instead of nagging her about it I replied "I'll be there in an hour!" Marth was probably wondering why I said an hour but I had a plan. I quickly got a few things and went to the store. I bought all her favourite things and went to a mall near by to buy a few things I knew she would love. I then made my way to her house. When I got there I quickly texted her "Stay in your room I have a surprise to set up." And she replied with an "Ok?" I then let myself in as I did usually. I quickly went to her living room area to see her parents so I greeted them and her mum looked at me knowing I had a plan and grateful that Marth had me knowing Marth was having a rough couple of weeks. I smiled at her knowingly. I quickly took any price tags I needed off any items not forgetting the two extra things I bought which were toys for each Simon and Kodi. I then took all of the things I bought for Marth and went to hide them all around the house. When I was finally done I went to her room and knocked on the door. "Come in!" I hear Marth yell. I then open the door to see Marth still cuddled under her blanket but smiled when she saw me. She then made grabby hands towards me silently asking me to come cuddle but I shook my head and said "Come on babe I set up a surprise for you, time to get out of bed." In response she groans and pulls the blanket over her head. "😑Babeeee come on I promise your gonna love them." I say trying to pull her blanket from her grip. Instead she grabs me and pulls me so I'm stuck in her grasp. "As much as I love cuddling with you, I really want you to find all your gifts. I promise I didn't hide them super well. Quickly find them before Kodi or Simon do. We can cuddle after." She then says "Urgh fine." She gives me a quick kiss and mumbles a "I love you." Which makes me smile and say "I love you more!" Before she enters her bathroom to freshen up she says "Impossible." Like she always does. When she's done she comes out in a very cozy looking sweater which makes me just wanna cuddle but I refrain wanting her to find all her gifts first. "Ok are you gonna give me any hints?" She asks a small smirk on her lips knowing what she's doing wearing this particular sweater. "Hmm nope." I say but then think I really wanna cuddle...."ok fine their not in any rooms." I say giving in slightly. "Are you gonna tell me how many gifts you hid?" Marth asks. "Ummm about 10?" I say questioningly honestly not sure knowing I get carried away whenever I buy gifts for her. "That's too many..." Marth says with wide eyes. "Never enough gifts for you babe! Besides I would have bought more." I say thinking of all the things I decided not to buy. Marth just shakes her head smiling at me. While she goes off to find all her gifts I wander into her living room to find Simon on the couch. When he sees me he starts to meow at me to pet him. I go up to him and he starts to climb my hoodie probably damaging it a bit but I could care less because he's just too dang cute. He climbs all the way up my shoulder and stands there as if he's the king of the world. I bet he would rather Marth since she's way taller but I guess I'm second best. He rubs his head on my face purring. I then walk around the house to see how Marth's doing finding everything. When I find her she's in the backyard holding most of what I got for her, I giggle and then shout out "Babe😂I didn't hide any outside!" She then looks over at me and walks towards me "You did not mention that." I then shrug my shoulders and say "You didn't ask." She then gently let's Simon on his head and then goes off to find her other gifts. "Their in the living room and kitchen!" I shout after her knowing I was in that area before and hadn't seen her there. "Thanks baby!" She shouts wondering off. I chuckle at her antics and slowly walk to the living room. When I get there Marth is on the couch with all her gifts and even the extras I got for Kodi and Simon. I giggle and say "Why'd you take Simon and Kodi's toys😂." She then drops them on the floor saying "Oh." But other than that Marth was smiling and already opening a pack of chocolate that was one of the gifts I got for her. She then looks over at me with a loving smile and glossy eyes. I quickly walk over to her and ask "Babe are you ok?" I wipe away tears that fell and she answers "Your so good to me..sorry I didn't text as much these few days. I haven't really felt the best. Oh god I'm a horrible girlfriend." I then shush her and say "Hey, hey, hey, don't say that. I understand what you've been feeling these pass few weeks and it's ok to feel this way. Your not a horrible girlfriend, and well get through this together." I say holding her cheeks so she would look me in the eyes. She then pulls me down to kiss me then we hug each other tight. Marth then puts all her gifts to one side of her and pats the other side for me to sit. We then cuddle and watch movies and share the few snacks I've bought for her.
