"Baby I think you should post a singing cover. You sound amazing and I think you should share it." Marth says as we're in the kitchen drinking our morning coffee. "No no I don't sound that great." I say never really been comfortable to sing in front of people I didn't know well. "I take videos and post them of you singing on my Instagram story all the time and everyone loves your voice and thinks you should post a cover too." Marth says with a slight look of fear. "You did what? Also your probably just saying that or their just trying to be nice." I question not knowing at all that she was posting those. "No they genuinely think you sound amazing and they've been pestering me to get you to post a cover. And I think "It's a great idea!" Marth explains. "*sigh* ok fine but then you have to post a bass cover." I negotiate. "Yay!..Wait what no." Marth celebrates then cuts herself short. "But babyyyy you sound amazing and besides you've played full covers for me and they are perfect. You should definitely post one." I say giving the same words she gave me with a small smirk. "But their not ready.." Marth tries to escape. "Oh but they are, I've heard them. If you don't post a cover then I won't." I say teasingly. I could sense her hesitation so I added on "Babe it doesn't even have to be a long cover you can even do that Moto Moto song from Madagascar." I suggest. Marth's eyes light up at my suggestion and says "Ok fine but promise you will post a cover too?" Marth says giving in. "I will. I'll help you with your P.O. Box opening video too." I suggest knowing how she's been hesitant to film thinking it will be weird to film alone. "Hey don't worry babe, your gonna do amazing." I reassure seeing her nervous expression. "So will you baby!" Marth says excited for me to finally post a video after trying to convince me for months.
