Advik rushed into Arnav's room dancing happily, well when wasn't he happy? He was always running around the house like a little baby being happy and making others happy too.
"Brooooo, I have a surprise for you." He said the sentence like he was singing it while Arnav just looked at him in amusement.
"What surprise?" Arnav asked as he laughed, Advik always managed to cheer him up by this little tactics he did.
"First of all close your then open them when I tell you to and the surprise would be right in front of you." He smiled as he sat down beside Arnav, Arnav nodded as he immediately shut his eyes.
He could just feel Advik making some movements and he tried his best not to open his eyes after a few moments Advik finally told him to open his eyes and when he did, he saw him holding two tiny boxes in his hands.
"What's this?" Arnav looked at the boxes curiously.
"This are gifts to ourselves and then we'll give them to the girls we love in the future." He smirked, Arnav rolled his eyes as he stood up and walked towards the window looking outside, he dint think love was possible for him.
"What happened bro? You dint look at it?" Advik walked towards him and stood beside him.
"Advik you know that whenever I get married it will be to Meera and well I can't give her whatever that it is you have in that box because I don't love her, I don't think I ever will." Arnav shrugged.
"I know, but I also know that someday you will fall in love, I don't know who the girl is going to be and I don't know if you'll even end up together, but promise me you'll give this to her." Advik said.
"What is it?" Arnav asked, Advik smirked as he opened the box revealing a beautiful diamond ring, it was pretty thin with tiny diamonds on the side and in the middle it had a tanzanite stone.
"I have the same ring for myself, the day I decide to get engaged, I'll make sure this is the ring for her." He smirked.
"You dream a lot don't you?" Arnav smiled.
"It's not bad to dream now promise me you'll also give this ring to whoever that girl will be, if you love her you'll give it to her." Advik said.
"But why? What does it mean?"
"Nothing, it's just a wish I had, now I got to go, got a girl to impress, see you later." Advik waved a goodbye at him and rushed out in a hurry.

Arnav was holding the same ring in his hand staring at it, it was actually very beautiful.
"So that's the ring you're going to give to Khushi?" Arjun asked, Arnav stayed silent for a while staring at it and then nodded positively.
"Advik wanted me to give it to the girl I'd love and although right now I kind of hate her and love her at the same time, she's the only girl that has made me fall in love, and what would be better than giving it to her as our engagement ring." Arnav said.
"Does she know? I mean you did tell your father that you'll get married to her in a week, but is she going to be ready for it?"
"I have no idea, anyway I told her to pass by the office when she's free so I can talk to her." Arnav had just finished the sentence when there was a knock at the door, it pushed open and Khushi walked in.
"Well, I'll leave you both alone then." Arjun smiled as he stood up and walked away after greeting Khushi.
"You wanted to talk?" Khushi asked nervously as she sat down on the chair opposite him.
"Yeah, about us. I don't want to lie to you, I talked to my parents and they aren't happy with this and my dad even threatened me that he would do all he can to throw you out of my life. I am done losing people I love Khushi, like I said before, I don't want to lose you either so I want to get married to you, I have fixed the wedding date for next Monday and today is Monday so we have six days.
I don't know if you are okay with it, if you aren't I'll cancel it, I just thought I'd talk to you first before deciding everything on my own, so please don't hesitate to tell me if you aren't okay with it." Arnav said.
Khushi stared at him blankly for a while thinking things through and then she spoke.
"It's getting married Arnav, we have to do it, whether today, on Monday or after an year, it won't make any difference, I am okay with whatever decision you'll make." She smiled, although getting married it six days sounded crazy, she hadn't even talked to her mother about this yet, but she knew she wanted this and her mother too wanted her to get married since forever so it wasn't going to be difficult to convince her.
"Are you sure? I don't want to put pressure on you because of my family."
"I am okay Arnav, I really am." She smiled.
"Okay then we can get engaged on the weekend, maybe Saturday?" He asked to which she nodded positively.
"I have this ring, it means a lot to me, I don't know whether you'll like it or not but I thought I'd show it to you, if you like it I can get it adjusted to your size and it can be your engagement ring." Arnav said as he held the box in front of her, Khushi nodded as he opened the box and handed her the ring.
She looked at it very keenly, it was such a beautiful ring, there was no way she couldn't like it, it was the perfect ring.
"I love it Arnav, and it's important to you too so it's going to be the one." She smiled excitedly, he stood up and walked towards her, held her by the shoulders and helped her stand up.
"Let's see if it fits you or I'll have to get it adjusted." Arnav said as he took the ring from her and then held her hand, he was about to put it on her finger but he stopped, he dint know why but something was just stopping him.
Khushi noticed how uncomfortable he looked so she put on the ring herself, but she couldn't stop wondering, if he wasn't okay with putting the ring on her finger right now? Was he going to be okay on the engagement day? She brushed of the thoughts and looked at the ring, it actually fitted perfectly, she raised her hand and showed it to him.
"It looks more beautiful on your hand." Arnav smiled.
"And it fits too so you won't have to make any adjustments." Khushi smiled back, she removed the ring and handed it back to Arnav.
"So will you talk to your parents or do you need my help in it? I'll talk to them if you want me to." Arnav suggested.
"No, it's okay I'll get it done on my own."
"And what kind of a wedding do you want? I am sorry I'm asking a lot of questions but I just want everything to be perfect for you, you must have dreamt of some sort of a wedding like every girl does, I want it to be up to your expectations." He smiled.
Khushi just smiled at him, although she could notice it in his behavior that he wasn't as comfortable with her as before and maybe he hadn't forgiven her yet, he was still trying to make her happy despite it all, what more could she ask for, a man was fighting himself to be with her and it was kind of beautiful.
"I haven't really dreamt of a wedding, but I don't think I want a big fat Indian wedding with thousands of guests. I'd prefer a small and simple wedding, with our families and friends and maybe close relatives. Although I would like it if it's outdoor, like you have this beautiful garden outside your mansion can we do it there?" She looked at him excitedly.
"Sure, your wish is my command." He smiled at how excited she was about this, that's what he wanted, for her to happy about this.
"Okay I'll make the arrangements of that, you can start your shopping too and maybe select something matching for me, I know you would like that, you can tell me to join you for shopping if you'd want that, I'll come along." Arnav said.
"Great, I'll get home and make a list of everything and then let you know."
"Sure, I also have to go for a meeting so I'll have to leave in like five minutes, should I drop you home?" He asked.
"No, I have to pass by a store nearby, I'll manage on my own. Anyway I'll get going, see you later." She waved a goodbye at him, he waved back and she turned to leave.
She pulled the door open when Arnav called out her name, so she stopped and turned to look at him, he held out both his arms open for her, she smiled as she ran towards him and hugged him tight as he wrapped his arms around her.
It wasn't that difficult but it still wasn't comfortable for him yet, but well if he was going to get married to her, he had to be sure to keep her happy, his hatred shouldn't come in between his love for her. Although he couldn't stop wondering how things between them were going to be once they were married.
