I lie in my warm bed with my laptop in front of me. My room is lit by small fairy lights, so there is not much light.

Tap, tap, tap

Frowning, I look up from my laptop where I was just editing photos a few seconds ago.

After a few more taps I realize where it comes from.
I get out of bed and a shiver runs down my back.

I open my curtains and look through the window.

I quickly open the window when I see someone standing in the garden.

Yasmine: "Ruel what are you doing here? It's half past eleven in the evening." I call, but in a whispered tone.
Ruel: "Come."
Confused, I frown and look at the door of my room.

Yasmine: "You want me to sneak out of the house?" I ask surprised.
He gets a big smile on his face and nods yes.
Yasmine: "What a stupid idea." I say softly to myself, with a smile on my face.

I turn around and look at the door again.
Then I check my outfit. What now only consists of an oversized hoodie. I walk to my closet and grab a pair of sports leggings. I collect some things and turn off my lights.

I open my window as far as possible and look down to see how I'm going to do this.

Ruel: "You're going to climb through the window?" He asks shocked.
Yasmine: "Yes." I say confidently.
Ruel: "Yeah, then it is a stupid idea."
His laugh fills the air around us and gives me a warm feeling inside.

Yasmine: "All you have to do is catch my bag."
Ruel: "You'll be fine, throw it."
Yasmine: "If you drop it, I know were I can find you." I say in a strict tone, but the smile hidden behind it reveals that it was not meant to be strict.

I dare to throw my bag out of the window and luckily Ruel catches it.
In the meantime I have also figured out a way to climb out of this window. It just becomes jumping. What a stupid idea, what a stupid idea. Why am I doing this again?

I sit in the window frame and try not to look down.
I know there is nothing under me. So all I have to do is jump.

I drop off and jump.

Ruel: "Oh my god, you're giving me a heart attack." He says as he exhales.

I'm standing there as if I just didn't jump down a few feet. I jumped out of the window before, but then I could still stand on a small edge, so I was closer to the ground.

Yasmine: "Aww- come." I say cheerfully, running my hand playful through his hair.

We walk towards the car, which he parked a little further down the street.

Yasmine: "What are we going to do?" I ask when he starts the car.
Ruel: "Surprise." He says with a grin.
Yasmine: "Come on Ruel. You know I don't like surprises."
Ruel: "You don't have to be afraid of anything. I'm sure you're going to like it."

After driving for 15 minutes, Ruel stops the car. I look around and see that we are in a small parking lot surrounded by a few trees.

Soon I notice that we are at the park where we have often been after school.

Ruel takes me to the clearing near the lake. The sky is clear so you can see the stars well.

Suddenly I feel two arms wrapped around my waist and I am pulled closer to his body.

Ruel: "It is a beautiful night tonight." He says softly in my ear.
Yasmine: "For what?" I ask confused as I turn up and look at him.
Ruel: "For stargazing."
A smile appears on his face and he looks behind him.
I look past him and see that he has put a blanket on the grass.
Yasmine: "You seriously want to stargaze with me?" I ask a little emotionally.
Ruel: "Of course I want to."
