I wake up to the sound of birds chirping. I roll over and smile to myself. I had an awesome time with Marcus last night. He made me forget about all my worries and I was stress free for a few hours. I am extremely excited for the best and fairest tonight. It's my first one and I am actually still surprised that Marcus wants to take me. I guess it hasn't sunk in yet. I get roll over and grab my phone off my bedside table. I text Marcus.

Emilia: Good Morning xx

He replies straight away as usual

Marcus: Good Morning! How did you sleep? Xx

Emilia: Pretty good, thanks to you taking me out to help me calm down, how did you sleep?

Marcus: Naww, can't give me all the credit, but I'm glad I calmed you down! I slept good, would've been better if you were with me tho🥰

Emilia: Nah you should take some credit. Of course 🤦‍♀️ but I can't stay over all the time

Marcus: You could tho...

Emilia: I mean I could. But my parents wouldn't like it

Marcus: True. I can't wait to see you tonight

Emilia: Me too x

Marcus: You're going to look so beautiful tonight

Emilia: And you're gonna look handsome

Marcus: Of course! We're gonna both look so good x

Emilia: We are! I'll see you later xx

Marcus: Yes!

I smile to myself as I chuck some clothes on and head downstairs. Marcus told me last night to come to his house to get ready and also cause we're gonna go together, and with Baz and his girlfriend Tara

"Hey Em." My Dad says, he's sitting at the bench reading the Herald Sun Newspaper.

"Morning." I say walking over to the couch.

"You okay? You looked pretty distressed yesterday." He says and I smile.

"Yeah, I was stressing about Uni." I say and he turns around and nods.

"I thought so." He says and I sigh.

"I just got frustrated with myself because I couldn't remember everything" I say and he gives me a sympathetic smile.

"Em, you shouldn't stress yourself out that much, you'll get them." He says and I nod.

"I know, but you know me. I'm hard on myself." I say and he nods.

"You shouldn't be." He says. "You've got heaps of time to remember everything."

"I know, I do." I sigh and he smiles.

"Did you enjoy your night with Marcus?" My Dad asks with a smile and I smile.

"Yeah I did." I say and he nods
