30 - Soundproof

Tomorrow will be the charity event I organized. Jen will come with me. I hope everything goes well.

She went to work today, her last day for the week. She has 4 days off. She fixed her schedule so she can accommodate the charity event. She really wants to be part of my life and what I do. How can I not fall for her if she's a dream girl? How??

It's funny how she can't get enough of driving the Ferrari. I told her to bring it to work with her but she declined. She said her colleagues will only question her having that. She doesn't want any issues connected to her name.

Last night was a bit of an extra night I didn't have to experience. It was out of my way again to do that. I talk to people, yes I do that a lot. But not face to face. I don't let myself get close to anyone, nor talk personally with just anyone. I've been doing that a lot recently. Since Jen came to my life.

The guy last night at the drive thru made my blood boil. He was so ridiculously annoying and I don't even have an idea how he can still flirt even if I already told his dad, the manager, what he did. Yes, he still did that in front of his father. And the dad didn't do anything. He even tried to disregard my complaint. He was another one who needed to learn his lesson. I told him I can call the owner of that branch if I want to and they will both lose their job. He thought I was bluffing. I wasn't. People know me for owning Black&White Coffee shop at the age of 18. Now I have more than 500 branches worldwide. That's the only extent they know so far, so people in the business still know me for being one of the youngest entrepreneurs in the country.

Both the dad and the son mocked me until my lawyer came in. I told him to rush to the burger joint when I was still talking to the lady by the take out counter earlier that night. Their faces went a bit taken aback when my lawyer showed up and stayed by my side. I told him to contact Maxwell, the owner of that branch of fast food chain. The duo of a son and dad went pale. They called my deal, and I wasn't bluffing. I have the upper hand all the time. They thought they had me when all they had was a flush but I got the royal flush as always.

When my lawyer was able to get ahold of Maxwell, he passed the phone to me. I put it on loudspeaker so that the two jerks can hear him. Maxwell didn't fail to brutally scold the duo via phone call. He assured me that he will do certain actions for what happened and he will make sure none of his employees will repeat the incident. When we were done with the phone call, I thanked him and turned around to leave. The duo tried to apologize but I didn't give them any attention. They need to learn their lesson, the hard way. I guess we'll never see them again working any shift in there. I didn't file any lawsuit against them or the branch because Maxwell assured me that what happened will not be repeated to anyone. He will make sure of that. So, I let it go. His word is his to keep.

I told Jen what happened inside and she laughed at the part where the tandem went pale. She said it's a shame she didn't see their faces. Oh and guess what! When I got back, I had to swipe the burger out of Jen's hands because she almost ate everything we ordered. She said she was bored and decided to just eat my food. She's a dream girl right?

Right now, I'm in a meeting with shareholders of Black&White Coffee. This is the only business I had to share stocks with a few people. I have the full control of everything, I made sure of that. I only placed 20% share in the market so I own 80% of it. No one can dethrone me as the president and CEO of the corporation. This is the only meeting I attend personally. But to say the least, this is the most boring meeting every time. I am here physically but my mind runs elsewhere, specifically Jen.

I am so excited for tomorrow's charity event. I get to spend another day with Jen. I love watching her with people I care about. The visit with Miranda's family was great. I can't get the sight out of my mind. When she was playing with Maria and Monica, she's a natural with kids. And I couldn't stop thinking about starting a family with her, what would that feel. I know it's a very far off future I'm thinking about but I just can't get it off of my mind since I saw her interact with kids. I've never thought about starting a family before her. Now I want one. Things really made a 360 turn when I met her. I started thinking more about life and how good it can be.
