I kept waking up every other hour during the night. I was being haunted by what happened. My dreams were all about that. Just different scenarios.

One dream was, I was being shot multiple times and the enemies just kept coming in and aiming at me, I was all alone, helpless.

The other dream was when I was about to ride my car, it was bombed and I saw a tall manly figure who had the trigger button. His face was blurred. He was beside another person and they were both laughing evil laughs.

Another dream of mine was, Jen being taken away from me, Chae was out cold as well as Jisoo and there's no one who can save Jen but me. But I can't move my hands and feet. That was the last dream I had when I forced myself to wake up. I was sweating real hard and the machines connected to me were beeping loudly.

"Baby! Are you okay?? What happened? Does anything hurt?" Jen asked worriedly. She was woken up by the beeping I guess.

Then the doctors came in, all three of them. They checked the machines and asked me questions. I told them I keep having nightmares. The fast pulse rate or beat of my heart triggered the beeping sounds. And I was gasping for air too so the ventilator mask needs to be back on. They put on medicine for me to fall back in deep sleep like when I was still unconscious. They told me the medicine will only last for 4 hours this time. Just so I can still wake up in the morning.

I'm starting to get sleepy again, Jen moved from the couch to the comfy chair beside my bed. She sat there and held my hand.

"Go on, sleep now baby. I'll be right here holding you while you sleep. You're safe now. Nothing to worry about. I love you" she told me grabbing my hand in hers.

I smiled and nodded. The medicine kicked in pretty fast. All I can say back was a soft 'Love you' before I was knocked out.

It was half past 8 when I woke up. The first thing I saw was a smiling Jen.

"Good morning Clark Kent!" she said happily.

"I didn't grow a cleft chin on my sleep, did I?" I said joking.

She chuckled. "How's your sleep? Did you have any more nightmares after they gave you meds?"

"I can't remember. Which is better than actually having bad dreams" I answered.

"Good. Uhh..baby, can I ask you something?" she started but hesitated for a moment.

"Sure. What is it?" I said smiling.

"When do you think will be safe to go back? You know, I am not the boss in my work like you are. I have responsibilities and commitments" she asked looking down.

"I still don't know babe. I have to talk to the team leads and Chae and Jisoo about the current situation. I'm sorry. I can't let you go back for now. You'll be in much danger", I told her.

"I know. I'm just.. Maybe I'm bored or I'm not used to staying idle. I love working. Sorry, I know we should wait until it's safe to go back" she stated.

"Babe, I promise we will get out of here as soon as the area is clear of enemies. If you want, maybe we can transfer to the moss mansion in the other island? If you feel more comfortable there?" I suggested and she smiled.

"That will be much better. Can we? I don't like being underground. It feels like prison honestly" she told me.

"Yeah, I feel like that too. I like seeing the sky, the stars at night. I'll see what I can do about that babe. I'm not sure if I'm well enough to travel by boat or chopper. I'll have my wounds checked" I said hopeful.
