"What?" Jen and Chae said at the same time once they saw me and Chu waiting for them.

There's something weird about my girlfriend's face right now. Is she wearing make-up after she just trained? She never does that before. And oh how could I miss her slightly swollen lower lip. I looked at Chae and saw her busted lip too. Woah, my girlfriend actually put a damage to her right hand woman? Is this the reason why she cancelled the training session with me? She doesn't look beat up though. Chae looks more tired than her. Hmmm..

"Hey stop laughing Chu! Why are you even laughing? What's funny? And Lisa, is there something wrong?" Chae broke my internal conversation with myself.

"Nothing. You just both look weird, not what we were expecting. Kind of the opposite actually" I said giving my girlfriend a light peck on her lips, she didn't even flinch so I guess it doesn't hurt that much.

"Baby, I was worried for a second there. You looked really serious when you stared at us. I guess you already noticed our new seflie lips" Jen said to lighten the mood.

Jisoo laughed harder and said, "I never thought that this dumpling can throw a hit that can bust your lips Park Chaeyoung! How did this thing happen? We need the full story asap!"

Chae slapped her girlfriend's head hard and she stopped laughing but smiled when Chae intertwined their hands while walking towards the living room.

"We just need to wash up first. We're wearing make-up which you obviously noticed. Chae said we can't be seen like, you know, not our normal flawless and gorgeous self. So we'll be back in a jiffy. We're hungry baby, please set the table up while we're upstairs. Love you" Jen said sweetly giving me a flying kiss.

"What the heck does she mean about 'not their normal flawless and gorgeous self'? Did they beat each other up to pulp? They don't look like it" I said thinking out loud.

"Your Jennie doesn't look like it, but Chipmunk looked tired and beat up. Is it possible that Jen did that? But that's impossible, Chae can even beat me in a fight, and Jen said she's in intermediate level right?" Jisoo put in her two cents in the thinking game.

"I don't know. That's what her trainer told me too. But she said she's more advanced than most intermediate levels. I just didn't realize that she can really fight now in combat. Maybe we will get answers once they tell us how it went" I said starting to set up the table.

"I will help you. Thank you for inviting us here again. I hope we aren't invading too much of your privacy. You're still our boss you know" Jisoo said while putting down 4 sets of plates and utensils.

"Of course not, we're glad to host a dinner for you two. We can't do this in other places anyway. This is our only safe place. There are a few safe places too, but this is the nearest. And Jen likes both of your company, so, it's our pleasure. I kinda like your presence too just in case you're wondering" I teased.

Jisoo chuckled and said nothing. We continued to set up the table. I warmed the food that I prepared for us. Right on cue, the two strutted down the stairs with bare faces and wearing more comfortable clothes.

I think Jisoo has the same face as mine. Our eyes went wide upon seeing the real damage each of them got.

"Lisa, I know it looks bad but we can explain. I'm sorry" Chae said apologetically while getting closer.

"Hey, I told you I got this. Don't say sorry. And Jisoo, don't look at me like that. We should eat now, your girlfriend can eat a whole turkey, she's starving" Jen said talking to Chae then Jisoo.
