42 - Bang!

It's been 3 months since we returned home from the island. We spent a 2 months there. I didn't expect to stay that long over there but we wanted to make sure it's totally safe to go back. We even spent Lisa's birthday on the island. It was not like I imagined it to be but it was still one of my favorite memories together. Simple, yet memorable. It was like wishing to have my girlfriend by myself. We literally are alone that day, even ChaeSoo didn't bother us. I tried to bake a cake for her. She helped me put it together of course. But I decorated it alone. It's funny how I shyly asked Alex to get me ingredients for baking and cooking for Lisa's birthday. I gave them a list of ingredients I searched in the web. It only took a few hours for them to get it. It was a freaking helicopter that delivered it in the afternoon. Fucking billionaires! I will plan something different for her next birthday though, maybe something a normal and average person would do to celebrate birthday.

Lisa's wounds are almost fully healed except for her legs. It will take another month for it to be back to normal, according to her doctors.

What happened over five months ago was all over the media but the information was not specified. They almost had it blocked out but they weren't able to. So what the news said was that there were a couple of gangs who open-fired at the restaurant. That's the only info they got. They said it was an isolated case of shooting. Even the fatalities were covered up. Fortunately, there were no harmed civilians. The fatalities were all the gunmen and some of Lisa's security. Lisa anonymously donated to Gerry's for it's rehabilitation. A part of the entrance was trashed and also there were some walls inside with bullet holes. The restaurant is now under renovation and will soon open again.

Alex and Peyton did find leads as to who was responsible for the ambush. It led to the main man that they were suspecting. Their undercover guy's information checked on what happened that day. They matched so perfectly that they are now ready to take down this person, if only they can find his whereabouts. Their informant unfortunately hasn't met the big boss and doesn't even know what he looks like. He said the big boss doesn't show up to his crew, only his right hand people and front men always show up during meetings. The good news is, the coast is clear and they aren't planning any attack soon because they are trying to lay low for a while according to our undercover spy. The bad news is, we can't still ID the main man who organized all these attacks. They said that it's possible that the guy went on a surgical procedure to change the way he looks. That's why we can't find him. That's possible though.

As usual, both Lisa and I went back to our normal work schedule. I had to cover up my 2 months long MIA status. I had a lot of explaining to do with my manager when I got back. Although she was thankful that I still able to let her know about my unplanned break from the flashes of light. I also was able to do a few phone and skype interviews anyway during my 'vacay'. So my manager wasn't that pissed off. I had to make a believable excuse like reasoning out that I need time for myself and shit. And I had to fully recover my energy and passion for my modeling before I go back to work. Of course, I didn't lose my passion in my field of work, I just had to make that as an excuse. My manager understood it because she said it's important to keep being passionate and that she already experienced handling a model who became so tired of working that she lost interest and passion in modeling. No one suspected any unusual thing about my absence. I was still able to have a go with my photo shoot and TV guestings when I got back. I just had to tell the 'story' of my absence the way I told my manager and it was acting 101 for me. I hated every second of the interview because I had no choice but to tell them a different story. It's for our safety, so it's still worth it. I'm glad they didn't cancel all the way, they all just rescheduled and waited for me to 'fully recover'. It was the most awkward interview I had. When I had to lie on national television in front of the whole world. I don't know when it will be aired, they still have to edit it. Now my last catch up interview is done.
