I sit in the common room after coming up from the Great Hall after the start of term feast and sorting ceremony. I sit in the chair that's by the portrait hole whilst everyone gathers in anticipation for the boys to enter the common room with Hermione since she went to go and get them. As soon as the portrait hole opens, I stand up with a stern look on my face and Harry, Ron and Hermione walk into the common room. The room bursts into applause. "Brilliant!" yells Lee. "Inspired! What an entrance! Flying a car right into the Whomping Willow, people'll be talking about that one for years –"
His words are cut short by a fifth-year who claps Harry on the back. "Good for you," he tells them. Fred and George push their way to the front of the crowd and say together, "Why couldn't we've come in the car, eh?"
I glare daggers into the twins' direction before grabbing their arms and pulling them over to the sofa and sitting down with a huff. "Hey, what was that for?" George asks me.
"You both know what that was for. I won't allow you two to put yourself in danger. And I certainly wouldn't have let you get into that car," I scold the boys.
"We were joking," Fred tries to defend himself.
"Well, I don't care if you were joking or not. Now, I'm going to bed before you come up with another stupid, ridiculous and reckless idea that could lead you to get killed," I tell them, getting up from the sofa and heading up the stairs to the girl's dormitories to head to bed.

I sit at the Great Hall with Angelina whilst she eats her breakfast. Professor McGonagall just giving us our timetables. "Mail's due any minute," I tell Ange, looking at my timetable.
"You expecting anything?" she asks me and I look up to see her looking at me.
"No. But I know that Ron is," I tell her.
"What are you talking about?" she asks me slightly confused and I shake my head.
"You'll find out soon, Ange," I tell her as I see an owl falling into a jug. I turn my head to see Errol being taking out of it. "Errol!" Ron exclaims, pulling the own out by the feet. Errol sumps, unconscious, onto the table, his legs in the air and a damp red envelope in his beak. "Oh, no-" Ron gasps.
"It's all right, he's alive," says Hermione and I get out of my seat and move to sit next to Hermione as she prods Errol gently with the tip of her finger. "It's not that – it's that."
Ron points at the red envelope. "What's the matter?" asks Harry confused.
"Mrs Weasley just sent Ron a Howler, isn't that right, Ronald?" I ask him and I stares at me.
"I know you had something to do with this. You're evil," he growls at me and I just smile at him. "Well, I had a right to do that, didn't I? I'm meant to be looking after you whilst we're here and I can't do that if your off doing something stupid and dangerous every second of the day, can I?" I ask him.
"You'd better open it, Ron," Neville suggests. "It'll be worse if you don't. My gran sent me one once, and I ignored it and-" he gulps. "it was horrible."
I pull Neville in for a hug since I sat in between him and Hermione. "What's a Howler?" Harry asks and I look at my little brother before shaking my head. "Open it," Neville urges. "It'll all be over in a few minutes –"
Ron stretches out his shaking hand, eases the envelope from Errol's beak and opens it. Neville stuffs his fingers in his ears and a split second later a roar of a sound filled the huge hall, shaking the dust from the ceiling. "- STEALING THE CAR, I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SURPRISED IF THEY'D EXPELLED YOU, YOU WAIT TILL I GET HOLD OF YOU, I DON'T SUPPOSE YOU STOPPED TO THINK WHAT YOUR FATHER AND I WENT THROUGH WHEN WE SAW IT WAS GONE-" Mrs Weasley yells, a hundred times louder than usual. People throughout the hall swivel around to see who had received the Howler and Ron sinks so low in his chair that only his crimson forehead could be seen. "- LETTER FROM BOTH DUMBLEDORE AND LILY LAST NIGHT, I THOUGHT YOUR FATHER WOULD DIE OF SHAME. WE DIDN'T BRING YOU UP TO BEHAVE LIKE THIS, YOU AND HARRY COULD BOTH HAVE DIED-"
I look at Harry to see him trying very hard to look as though he couldn't hear the voice that is making everyone's eardrums throb. "- ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED – YOUR FATHER'S FACING AN INQUIRY AT WORK, IT'S ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT AND IF YOU PUT ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE WE'LL BRING YOU STRAIGHT HOME."
A ringing silence falls. The red envelope dops from Ron's hands burst into flams and curls into ashes. Harry and Ron sit there stunned as though a tidal wave has just passed over them. A few people laugh and eventually a babble of talk breaks out again. Hermione closes Voyages with Vampires and looks down at the top of Ron's head. "Well, I don't know what expected, Ron, but you-"
"Don't tell me I deserved it," snaps Ron, cutting Hermione off.
Harry pushes his porridge away. I leave the three of them there before heading back over the Angelina, grabbing my bag and we make our way out of the Great Hall and heading to Transfiguration.
