The next day, Lily wakes up with a lot more energy than she had yesterday but as soon as she turns her head to the right as she could feel eyes on her, she finds Fred and George sat on the chairs next to her bed, looking at her. "Lily." Fred gasps.
"Hey, boys." she tells them but before does anything else, Madam Pomfrey walks over to her. "Ah, Miss Potter. I hope you're feeling better." she tells Lily, making her nod her head. "Good. I believe you're good to go." she finishes once she's checked her over before handing her a pile of clothes. "Miss Johnstone brought these down this morning a few minutes before the boys arrived."
"Thank you, Madam Pomfrey." Lily thanks Madam Pomfrey before she walks away and then Lily turns to the boys. "Can you leave me alone for a moment so that I can get dressed, please?" she asks the boys, causing them to nod their heads before walking out of the hospital wing so that she can get dressed.
Lily sits next to Fred as McGonagall is walking down the Gryffindor table, handing out the timetables. Lily takes her timetable from McGonagall before she hands her Ron, Harry and Hermione's as well. "Give these to your brother and his friends when they arrive, will you, Miss Potter?" Professor McGonagall asks her.
"Alright, Professor. I will." she tells McGonagall before she walks down the Gryffindor table again. However, a few minutes later, Harry sits down opposite me, next to George, Ron on the other side of George and Hermione next to Ron. "New third-year course schedules." Lily tells them, passing them out.
"What's up with you, Harry?" George asks Harry, making Lily turn her head to look at her brother to find him sat there with an annoyed look on his face. "Malfoy." Ron says, glaring over at the Slytherin table. "That little git." George says calmly. "He wasn't so cocky last night when the Dementors were down at the end of the train. Came running into our compartment, didn't he, Fred?"
"Nearly wet himself." Fred says, turning his head to look at Malfoy.
"I wasn't too happy myself." George says. "They're horrible things, those Dementors..."
"Sort of freeze your insides, don't they?" Fred asks.
"You didn't pass out, though, did you?" Harry asks in a low voice.
"No, we didn't. But Lily lost a lot of energy and ended up collapsing trying to get to the hospital wing so I carried her there." Fred tells Harry.
"But forget it, Harry." George says. "Dad had to go out to Azkaban one time, remember, Fred? And he said it was the worst place he'd ever been, he came back all weak and shaking... They suck the happiness out of the place, Dementors. Most of the prisoners go mad in there."
"Anyway, we'll see how happy Malfoy looks after our first Quidditch match." Fred says. "Gryffindor versus Slytherin, the first game of the season, remember?"
Lily looks up from her timetable to see Ron staring over Hermione's shoulder at her timetable.
