By the following morning, Lily feels a bit better, but the weather seems to have shown what she should be feeling but it doesn't. She sits a few seats away from Fred, George and Lee, who are discussing ways of aging themselves and bluffing their ways into the Triwizard Tournament. She sits with Angelina, clearly not happy with what the boys are doing, whilst nibbling on a slice of toast. "Why are you sending the twins, well, Fred, the evil eyes, Lils?" Angelina asks causing Lily to turn her head back to her friend sat in front of her.
"Because they're being fucking idiots and are planning on risking their lives, just for bloody money and I don't want them to die because that's all that happens whenever this tournament happens. Every single tournament, one of the champions die and I don't want it to happen to him," Lily rants, looking back down the table at the boys, her face turning sad when saying this.
"You really love him don't you?" Angelina asks her.
"I do. And... I don't know what I'll do if I lose him. He's the best thing that has happened to me and I haven't even told him this yet and I don't know if I will because he might end up dead when I want to tell him," Lily says.
"Well, why haven't you told him?"
"You try and telling the person you like that you like them and then you can get back to me."
"Okay. Jeez. We'd better get to lesson though otherwise we'll be late," Angelina says before the two of them get up from the table and head out of the Great Hall.

Due to the group having started their N.E.W.Ts, the five of the had to choose subjects based on the career they want to go into. And with Lily wanting to become an Auror, she had found that she would need Transfiguration, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms but she also picks Care of Magical Creatures.
So, here she is, sat next to Angelina in Potions, listening to Snape drone on and on about them being N.E.W.T students and they need to step up their game with homework and paying attention and all those things but as soon as the lesson is over, Lily races out of the class, thankful that it's the last lesson she has for the day, but when she gets to the entrance hall, she notices a crowd of people stood around agroup of people so Lily pushes through the crowd, gripping onto her bag, to get to the front and she finds Harry and Draco yelling at each other. "Don't you dare insult my mother, Potter," Malfoy spits at Harry.
"Keep your fat mouth shut, then," Harry says turning away but not even a second later, a BANG is heard throughout the hall. A few people around Lily scream but she doesn't have time to process anything because another BANG is heard with someone yelling, "OH NO YOU DON'T, LADDIE!"
Professor Moody limps down the marble staircase, his wand out and pointing at the pure white ferret that's now where Malfoy stood. There's a terrified silence in the entrance hall. Nobody moves a muscle apart from Moody. "Did he get you?" Moody growls, looking at Harry.
"No," Harry says. "missed."
"LEAVE IT!" Moody suddenly yells causing Lily to become concerned so she walks over to her little brother, wrapping an arm around him in a protective way, which is harder than it seems due to Harry being slightly taller than her now.
"Leave – what?" Harry asks in bewilderment.
"Not you – him!" Moody growls, jerking his thumb over his shoulder at Crabbe. Moody limps over to Crabbe, Goyle and the ferret, which gives a terriied squeak and takes off, streaking towards the dungeons. "I don't think so!" Moody roars, pointing his wand at the ferret again – it flies ten feet into the air before falling with a smack to the floor an then bounces upwards once more. "I don't like people who attack when their opponent's back's turned," Moody growls as the ferret bounces higher and higher, squealing in pain. "Stinking, cowardly, scummy thing to do..."
"Never – do – that – again –" Moody says, speaking each word as the ferret hits the stone floor and bounces up again.
"Professor Moody!" a shocked voice squeals. Lily turns her head slightly to see Professor McGonagall walking down the marble staircase with her arms full of books.
"Hello, Professor McGonagall," Moody says as he calmly bounces the ferret higher.
"What – what are you doing?" McGonagall asks, her eyes following the ferret's progress through the air.
"Teaching."
"Teach – Moody, is that a student?"
"Yep."
"No!" Professor McGonagall cries, running down the stairs and pulling her wand out; a moment later, with a loud snapping noice, Draco Malfoy reappears, lying in a heap on the floor. "Moody, we never use Transfiguration as a punishment!" she says. "Surely Dumbledore told you that?"
"He might've mentioned it, yeah," Moody says. "but I thought a good sharp shock –"
"We give detentions, Moody! Or speak to the offender's Head of House!"
"I'll do that, then," Moody says, staring at Malfoy with great dislike. At this, Lily starts getting fed up, knowing that McGonagall has it handled, she walks up the staircase back up to the common room.
