Daddy!Germany: *goes to living room and starts playing on his iPad*
Mother!Fem!Italy: *is playing on her laptop in living room*
Author: *sees 1 1/3 cups of water as 3 1/3* *puts in 3 1/3 cups of water as well as everything else*
Author: Momma! I think I did this wrong....
Mother!Fem!Italy: *yelling from the living room but not angrily* What does it look like?
Author: *yelling not angrily from kitchen* Really watery!
Mother!Fem!Italy: *comes into kitchen* *looks at batter* How much water?
Author: 3 1/3 cups....
Mother!Fem!Italy: Yeah, it calls for 1 1/3 cups of water.
Author: Oh...
Author looks off into the distance and a single tear rolls down her cheek.

So, Daddy!Germany ended up having to go back out to the store and buy more cake mix... ;-; Author's parents had to stay in and supervise the next non-failure batch. Daddy!Germany just sat in the kitchen playing Trivia Crack.
