Ever since WW2, Normandy has thought of America as brave and Noble. I's say she probably looks up to America, and is grateful to him. She'll never forget how scary it was when Germany invaded. (Sounds kinda rape like but whatever broskis)
France, however, looks down on America, because America totally saved his sorry bum lots of times. Even before that. So France got all haughty and indignant about it. And now he kinda hates America a little bit.
