"Tsukishima, what's with your obsession with strawberry shortcakes?" Kageyama pouted.
It was their anniversary, and as always, they would go pick a cake from their favorite cafe to celebrate. Each year though, they always got strawberry shortcake, because Tsukishima always wanted it.
But this year, Kageyama wanted something different.
"It's tasty, and we always get it." Tsukishima said matter-of-factly.
"And you also got it for my birthday."
"Yes, yes I did."
But Kageyama wasn't having it. "No, you know what I meant, I want something different. What about the Blueberry cheesecakes?"
"Tobi....."
No answer.
Tsukishima sighed. "It's kind of like a tradition now, please?"
No answer.
"Tobio?"
Still no answer.
"Tobio Kageyama."
Okay, he's mad.
"Fine, a blueberry cheesecake." Tsukishima sighed, knowing he couldn't win or refuse his boyfriend.
"Yes! I was almost about to say something! Screw myself for not being able to be mad at you for long...." Kageyama sighed a breath of relief.
They got their cake and headed home, and Tsukishima had to admit, his boyfriend's choice was actually quite delicious, despite his pride not letting him admit that.
