Uhmmm...kinda angst? I don't know, read it if you wish :3

Oh, one thing. Kuroo is Kageyama's older brother in this AU.

==========

"Why are you here again?" Tsukishima sighed, tapping his pen on his work desk.

"Obviously because I'm bored, and Kuroo's in some meeting, so who else am I supposed to be with?" Kageyama answered as if it was obvious.

Tsukishima groaned. He really despised this boy. Annoying, cocky, dumb, and simple minded, compared to his older brother, who he...well....

"You like Kuroo, don't you?" A sweet smile was formed on the raven's face.

He hated that the boy asked him such a question, and he hated that he couldn't deny it. Yes, he loved Kageyama's older brother since the two had been in highschool, not to mention they were best friends.

"That reminds me, today the Main Street is open again, let's go together!" Kageyama interrupted his thoughts.

"What makes you think I'll come?" Tsukishima asked.

"Oh give me a break! You're always sitting at that desk everyday, lighten up..."

"No, and finish your assignment and get out of here." Tsukishima made it clear that it was the end of the conversation, but Kageyama didn't take it.

"7 pm tonight, I'll wait for you if you're late!" Kageyama took his things before leaving.

It was the time he'd said, and Kageyama was quite happy. He really hoped Tsukishima would come. Maybe he should grab a drink first? Take a look at the shops? He was quite excited.

========

"Kuroo- what are you doing here?" Tsukishima kept himself calm.

"Sorry, sorry, I know, but Tobio hasn't returned home yet, I'm worried. He told me he'd be with you." Kuroo held his phone up, showing the messages his brother had sent.

'Surely not....'

Tsukishima sighed. "Yeah, I think I might know where he is."

Kuroo thanked him and the two drove to Main Street, where, much to Tsukishima's surprise, Kageyama was there.

"I was waiting for a lonnngggg time, y'know? I even got myself some snacks." He smiled.

'Four freaking hours you waited?!' Tsukishima wanted to scream that, but he didn't.

"Don't worry, some of my friends were here so we messed around."

It was always like the raven could read his thoughts so easily. Kuroo, on the other hand, was just happy his brother was safe.

"God, I seriously need a drink..." Kuroo held his head.

"We can get one...." Tsukishima patted.

"Yeah, thanks."

After they went in, they ordered a few drinks, and Tsukishima had a little more than he should've. Not even a little, to be honest.

"Hey, Kuroo, drive yourself home, I'll get him a taxi back." Kageyama smiled as he felt the blonde's weight leaning on him.

"Mhm. Give him aspirin when he wakes up."

Tsukishima was sluggish, but they did get back to his apartment. They entered it, but just as Kageyama was about to se him down, he moved closer.

"...get on your bed or something. You're drunk, do it when you're sober." His tone was a bit strained, but he tried his best to hide it.

Tsukishima woke up the next morning, confused as to why there was soup and medicine sitting on his bedside table for him, the headache being his only helper.

===========

Kuroo tapped his foot, tilting his head. "Was there something you wanted to say Tsukishima?"

"Y-yeah...but give me a moment." He'd pull him aside to confess, but he didn't know what to do. His head hurt a lot, and to be honest, he was scared.

Scared of a lot of the outcomes that could happen, and because of that, he didn't want to do it now.

He held his breath and swallowed, before a figure came into his view.

Kageyama Tobio.

Without thinking, he immediately said, "I like your little brother."

Kuroo's eyes widened at the words. "What?! Are you- you're joking, aren't you?"

"You serious?" Tobio ran over.

"No, I'm not joking."

"Do you just like him?" When Kuroo received a nod, he sighed. "I'm going to go back home and take this all in...oh my god..."

"I can walk you back." Tsukishima raised his hand.

"Nah, maybe talk with my brother."

And he left.

"Do you really?" Kageyama asked, stepping closer to Tsukishima.

"Well, not-"

"You're heartless. You're fucking heartless."

"What do you mean?" His emotions were so mixed up at the moment, he really didn't feel like being insulted by him.

"You go to confess to my brother, back out, and use me as your escape route. Do you have any idea how I feel then?" Tobio tried to maintained a low, calm tone as best as he could.

"I'm sorry-"

"Sorry? Sorry?! That's it? It's the I always wanted to hang out with you, I waited for you when you didn't arrive, and I took time to help you too! I love you! And..." Kageyama's voice trailed off, his head lowered and his eyes stained with tears.

"I didn't know..." Tsukishima didn't know how to respond to this. It was all too new for him. All too different.

"Forget it. Leave me the hell alone." Tobio walked off, covering his face in pain and sadness.

Oh how cruel the world was.
