Lan Zhan poured tea into four cups for the three people and himself, sitting around the little table in the Jingshi.

"I thought we should have a game plan at least, before we tackle our prisoner." XiChen began.

"Has she been fed?" Wei Ying asked.

"Yes, her needs have been addressed, although she put up a fight. Hui Gai convinced her to eat, so there's that. However, do you know what you want to ask her?" He asked Wei Ying.

"Zidian can help." Jiang Cheng added his input.

XiChen patted his hand. "I'm sure Brother Wei will let you know about that." His fingers rested upon the ring around Jiang Cheng's finger, stroking gently.

Purple eyes darkened, ever so slightly.

"So!" Wei Ying said too loudly, pushing a piece of parchment towards XiChen. "This is a list of questions that we must have answers to."

"Right, right," XiChen replied, distractedly. "I think it best if I'm not there. I don't want to give them too much importance, even if they are valuable to us right now." He smiled at Wei Ying. "And I trust you all. Please try not to hurt her, though."

Jiang Cheng scowled. "Whatever it takes." He mumbled.

"Brother Wei, I am not comfortable with hurting a woman, even if she is a highly trained combatant. It would go against the rules of Cloud Recesses...and my own deep seated beliefs. I trust that you would keep that in mind, when questioning the young lady." XiChen could not keep the worry out of his voice.

"Don't worry, XiChen-Ge, I will make sure of that. I wouldn't want to do that anyway. And besides," he smiled happily, "there are many ways of making people talk, without violence."

"What do you mean?"

"You say she was given food? Did she drink the water that was given to her?"

"Yes, after she was made to see reason."

"Well, then our plan will be successful. I gave Hui Gai a truth serum to add to her water. It has to be fully digested in order to work, for it to have entered her blood stream." Wei Ying beamed.

"Wei Ying is clever." Lan Zhan proudly kissed his temple.

He blushed.

Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes, making snarky faces.

"I think it has been about two or three hours already." XiChen told them.

"Then let's see if she's ready." Wei Ying turned to Lan Zhan. "Will you be there?"

"Does Wei Ying want me to be there?" Lan Zhan hesitated, looking to his brother.

"If you have something else to do, you can totally go ahead." Wei Ying told him. "I have Jiang Cheng. We work well together." Wei Ying grabbed his arm and made puppy eyes at him.

The scowl deepened. "Get. Off. Me."

"See? Teamwork!" Wei Ying exclaimed, ignoring him.

"Thank you." XiChen said. There was so much relief in his voice, Jiang Cheng was already patting his hand.

"Come on. It's time to get some answers." Wei Ying stood up.

They split up when they got to the Mingshi. Wei Ying kissed Lan Zhan's cheek, blushing when he whispered something to him.

"I will see you later." Jiang Cheng purposefully spoke into XiChen's ear, causing him to be flustered. "You better be ready for me."

"Um...that is to say...Wanyin...er, I better go." XiChen fled to Wei Ying's laughter.
