"I'm so excited!" Angel squealed as we walked down the long hotel hallway towards the elevator, trailing behind three huge body guards.
I laughed. "Are ya?"
She nodded with a big smile plastered onto her face as I quickly snatched her hand in mine. "I haven't been in L.A. for so fuckin' long, I'm so excited to see Curtis again, I'm so excited to go out! Ugh, tonight's gonna be so much fun." She gushed as we finally reached the elevators.
I had come to L.A. two nights ago to meet with Dre and Fifty in regards to finally fuckin' signing him, and since it was official now, Dre decided to put together a lil' party in honour of Fifty. We had done the same thing for Obie when he was signed, but because Fifty and Angel were friends, and she was essentially the reason for why I even discovered him, she really wanted to be there to congratulate him. So, she flew out this morning to come, and then was gonna be going back tomorrow while I stayed here for a few more days just to work out some contractual shit with Fifty and Dre. I told Angel she could stay for longer if she wanted, and I even invited her down here with me when I flew out originally, but she felt bad making Betty watch all the kids for that long, so instead she decided to just come for the night to make it easier on her, which I understood. Betty's not young, I can't imagine how difficult it is for her to watch five kids. But we both really appreciate it nonetheless.
I laughed again at her obvious excitement. "It's gon' be great, baby."
"Do ya think he's gonna like my present?" She asked inquisitively as I felt us start to descend towards the main floor, where I'm pretty sure the rest of the boys were already waiting for us.
"Uh, a Rollex? Nah, I think he's gon' hate it." I sarcastically joked.
She laughed, lighting shoving me with her shoulder. "Shut up. I just want him to like it! It's a big day for New York, aight? I feel like a proud mom."
I smiled, throwing my arm around her neck as I drew her in closely to me. "Yeah baby, he's gon' love it. It was real nice of ya to do that." I said before leaving a quick kiss against her hair.
Finally, the elevator door opened, revealing all the boys, Zoe, and Paul standing around in a circle, impatiently waiting. "Yo! Finally! What the fuck took ya'll so long?!" Biz yelled as we stepped through the opening.
"Man, it was her! I swear! She's always gotta change her outfit ten times 'fore she's happy." I jokingly blamed Angel.
"Mhm, and she's as beautiful as ever." Zoe stated with attitude as she pulled Angel away from my hold, linking her arm through hers as we all began walking simultaneously towards the hotel exit. Once we reached it, we all piled into two different blacked out SUVs. Me, Angel, Zoe, and Denaun climbing into the smaller one, while Proof, Biz, Swifty, Kuniva, and Paul made themselves comfortable in the bigger one.
As me and Angel piled into the far backseat, she softly rested her hand against my shoulder before leaning in closely to me. "Y'know this means ya gonna get the best head of your life tonight, right?" She whispered directly into my ear as Zoe and Denaun buckled themselves into the seats in front of us just as the car began moving.
Rolling my tongue against the roof of my mouth, I let out a breathy chuckle. "Yeah? 'Cause I signed Fifty?"
"Mhm." She purred. "You put Queens on, I'ma put you on."
I cocked an eyebrow up at her. "Whatchu care 'bout Queens for?"
"My mom was from Queens, I thought ya knew that?" I shook my head. "Oh. Well yeah. She moved to Brooklyn when her and my dad were dating."
I smiled, intertwining my fingers through hers. "Sounds like me and you."
She laughed. "Don't say that! Ya ain't nothin' like my dad."
