Every coin has two sides, similarly we came across people in the show who differed time to time. One of those very characters we all have seen is none other than Vivek Somani. An obedient and responsible son, a confident business man, a typical husband, a respectable son in law, a strict yet caring and proud father. All these goodies turned into repel when it concerned Sameer, right from sending him away from his mother to not leaving any chance to discourage, compare, and degrade him in front of his mother. As it is said, that a smooth sea never makes a skilled sailor, Sameer's step father played his part of creating obstacles in his journey which ultimately moulded him into a mature person who had the courage to rise up even after failure.

Inspite of being in a negative role, we all enjoyed the tragic scenes performed by him. The credit to portray the role with such perfection goes to Sandeep Rajora, the man behind the character. Today, on the occasion of his birthday, let's have a look on his journey in this industry.

Sandeep started with modelling in 2001, winning the Gladrags Manhunt Contest 2001, after which he returned to Mumbai to pursue his career as a model. He went on to be a model for Signature Whiskey and then for a wide range of brands. Apart from Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai, he has also acted in mythological shows such as Mahabharat, Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman and Suryaputra Karn. Not only this, but he has acted in numerous other shows such as Dil Hi Toh Hai, Sati... Satya Ki Shakti, Sarkarr: Rishton Ki Ankahi Kahani, Hey... Yehii To Haii Woh!, Ssshhhh... Phir Koi Hai, Love Ne Mila Di Jodi, Baat Humari Pakki Hai, Kareena Kareena, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat, Raat Hone Ko Hai, Savdhaan India, MTV Webbed, Fear Factor India, Kya Dil Mein Hai, Jhoome Jiya Re, Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava, Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat, Ajeeb Dastaan, Santoshi Maa- Sunayein Vrat Kathayein.

Even though he has been a part of such a vast range of shows, we feel his talent still needs to get recognised at a vast level. None of us can deny that we all wanted to see more of Vivek Somani in the show, in terms of so many sequences, be it his presence in Suman's naamkaran or his changing relationship with Naina and Sameer. The kind of potential this character had was immensely missed, but we all wish to see this coming up in a better way in YUDKBH S2, if we get one.
