“Mehek hai woh ghar ke aangan ki,
Pari hain woh apne babul ke gulistaan ki,
Ankhon ka woh taara hai,
Bin uske jag suna saara hai.
Rishton ko usne sawara hai,
Jeene ka sabke ek woh hi toh sahara hai...”

Hi!
I am a girl.

No, no, no.
Paraya Dhan
Ya shayad aur bhi ache se bataun toh apne pariwaar, samaaj aur iss puri duniya par bojh.

Hairan kyu ho gaye? Humare samaaj mein yahi to paribhasha hai na humari?

Par kya sach mein yeh humari paribhasha hai? Soch kar dekhiye ki aaj hum jiss samaaj mein hain jo baraabari ki baatein karta hai, kya humein baraabari par laa paaya hai? Kya sach much ladkiyan baraabari par hain ya ye sirf ek brahm hai?

The National Girl Child Day is today being celebrated across the nation with objectives of generating awareness on the issue of declining Child Sex Ratio and create a positive environment around valuing the girl child. The celebrations also mark the anniversary of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme.

Various ministries of the government of India like Ministries of Education, Sports, Skill Development and Department of Science and Technology have undertaken various initiatives and programmes for the progress and empowerment of the girls and we just hope they are implemented in not just the high class society but in lower sections of the country too.

To reduce gender gaps at all levels of school education and for providing quality education to girls from disadvantaged groups, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) have been sanctioned in Educationally Backward Blocks under Samagra Shiksha.

Ministry of Skill Development is making efforts for building conducive ecosystem for skilling women in India. Out of 33 National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs), 19 NSTIs are providing skill training exclusively for women. In NSTIs 3,400 seats have been sanctioned under Craftsman Training Scheme and 2,225 seats have been sanctioned under Crafts Instructor Training Scheme (CITS).

Program for Gender Advancement in S&T Institutions which started in 2020, aims to develop a Charter for Gender Equality in STEM with a focus on bringing about transformational changes at institutional level. The project aims to create a new ecosystem based on building competencies of institutions and provide them with ongoing mentoring support to achieve transformation.

As we all at FamiliaDeYUDKBH  discuss what all is being done for the women of our nation by the government, we cannot forget that it's the people of the government only from whom we hear so many unacceptable statements regarding women. It's time to come out of your houses and show this patriarchal society what we are meant to do and what we are meant to be.

“Laxmi hai woh kabhi, toh kabhi hai woh Saraswati,
Durga bhi hai woh kabhi, toh hai woh kabhi Maa Kali...
Abla nahi woh, woh toh Shakti hai,
Usi se hi toh humari har bhakti hai...
Beti kabhi, toh kabhi behen kisi ki,
Maa kabhi, toh kabhi ardhangini kisi ki,
Ladki hai woh kamzor nahi,
Nazuk hai woh par darpok nahi...”
