~ Alyssa ~

I quickly park my car. With some small, softly pronounced swear words, I get out of my car and run to the building. Barely holding my bag, I burst through the door and run through the hall.

When I reach the elevator, I quickly check the time. Shit! They probably started already...

When the doors of the elevator finally open, I rush inside and press the button a hundred times. Just wishing it would reach the right floor even faster.

The small numbers of the floors change way too slow in case of emergency, but finally I reach the right floor. The doors open like they really need a holiday, what makes me rush even more. Holding my stuff, I run through the hall.

I ignore all the stares and judgy faces of my coworkers and run to the right room. Without wasting another second, I burst through the door. Every single person in the room looks at me as I quietly try to catch my breath and take my seat.

Like nothing happened, I put my notes on the table and look at my coworker James, who stands in front of everyone doing a presentation. Well, that was until I came through the door. Ever since then, nobody made a sound, not even him.

As I look at the confused look on James' face, I softly clear my throat and smile at him. "You were saying?" I ask like nothing happened.

James recovers quickly and rolls his eyes. "How nice of you to join us, Mrs. Kim," he says. I quietly laugh as I feel my cheeks blush. After four years of marriage, I am still not used to people calling me that.

That is also because I insist on people calling me Alyssa, especially my coworkers. But James knows that, because that is exactly why he calls me 'Mrs. Kim' especially now, in front of our entire team.

I smile at him again and bow my head a little. "Pleasure is all mine, Jamie, please continue," I tell him with a big smile. I know he hates being called Jamie and that's exactly why I call him Jamie. James can't control his laughter and shakes his head as he continues his story.

I quietly try to catch my breath and look around in the room. It still feels surreal that this is my team. That I work here, with these people. Sometimes I need to take a moment to realise how much has happened in these past years...

Only four years ago, I married the love of my life, Kim Taehyung. After a year of loving, laughing, hiding, struggling, breaking up, getting together again, more hiding and more struggling, we stood there at the alter saying our vows. In front of our friends and family.

A lot has changed since then... We bought our own house in Korea with a beautiful garden and a lovely neighbourhood. We started our little family together, welcoming our daughter Yoonah. Luckily she came into our lives healthy and happy, revealing that she got the same beautiful smile as her dad along with some adorable freckles on her face, just like he does.

Then we bought our house in America, to be closer to my family and my friends. But also because I love the area and so does Taehyung. Plus, it is very easy to travel to America for business or holiday, since we already have our place there.

Then I got a promotion and joined the production team of Big Hit Entertainment - now called Hybe Corporation - , also known as the management of BTS. I joined a new team and got involved in all kind of projects. Now, I am the production assistent for Run BTS - BTS's own show - and the BangTan Bombs - behind the scenes videos of BTS, posted on YouTube.

Something I never thought of doing, but here we are... After four years - and counting - of being a Mrs. Kim, my life has changed so much, but in good ways. In very good ways.
