Part One Hundred 백

The next day is another day at the office. Next week we have a lot of filming days planned and this current week we have to prepare everything for that. It is a busy week, but it is also nice to be in the office.

When I drop my stuff at my desk, I am immediately confronted by the fact that James does have a filming day today. At least, a filming morning. He is filming a music video with Jin today.

Which means the office is very quiet today. Even Kaylee is joining the filming today, so it is very quiet here today...

But I just follow my normal routine, so I get my cup of tea and start my computer. The second my email opens, I see I have a lot of work to do. So I start right away.

The day flies by. I am so caught up in work, I really scare when my phone rings. I feel confused when I see it's Jungkook. I laugh and answer the phone.

"Hey Jungkook! Aren't you in the building?" I ask. Jungkook laughs, "Yeah, we're in the practice rooms." I laugh and lean back in my chair. "So what's with the call? Do you need something?" I ask him.

"I do, actually. Well, we do. We are hoping you want to help us with a dance practice video," Jungkook says. I quickly look at the agenda. "Wait, there is a dance practice shoot planned today?" I ask. Jungkook laughs, "Not yet. We are trying to plan that right now." I finally seem to understand what he means.

"Oh, I see. Well what do you offer?" I tease. Jungkook laughs, "A lot of fun and a great video to post on social media." I laugh, "But who is gonna do all the work I have planned for today?" "I bet Namjoon is in the building somewhere! Ask him!" Jungkook jokes. I laugh, "Poor Namjoon."

"So are you helping us?" Jungkook asks. "Who is us?" I ask him. "Just me, Hobi, Jimin and Tae," Jungkook says. I don't know how I should feel about Taehyung being involved as well. But I actually don't mind that much. Maybe I even like it a little. Or more than a little.

I laugh, "What room are you in?" Jungkook cheers, "Yeah! We're in the big room. You're the best, Ali!" I giggle, "Wait for that comment until the video is done, JK. But I will be there in a few minutes." Jungkook laughs, "I will! See you soon, Ali! Thank you!"

We both hang up the phone. I can't help but laugh a little. You start the day thinking you have a normal office day with nothing special, but then a charming young man appears and changes your day for the better. One of the things I love about this job. And not just the charming young men.

I quickly look at all my tasks. Luckily, there is nothing too urgent. So, I close my laptop, gather my camera including all the gear and go to the dance rooms.

When I get there, I already see Jungkook, Jimin, Hoseok and Taehyung. They are practicing a song. I recognise it. It's Hala Hala by ATEEZ. I smile when I hear it. I never thought they would do an ATEEZ dance cover. I immediately feel more excited. I absolutely love this song and this choreography!

Once the song ends, all the guys look up to me. I put my stuff down and applaud for them. "Great job, guys!" I smile. "Thanks, Ali!" Jimin smiles. "Are you ready to shoot the video?" I ask them.

They all look at each other. "Why don't we practice it one more time while you make your setup?" Hoseok suggests. Everyone agrees. "Good idea. You go ahead guys," I tell them.

They turn on the music again while I unpack my camera. While I install myself, I look at their practice. Wow... It looks amazing! I even softly do the fan chants that are included in this song.

I know the dance done by ATEEZ. It is not an easy dance. At least, that's what it always looked like. And looking at this dance practice in front of me, I would say it is indeed not an easy dance.
