Part Sixty 육십

Within an hour, Yoongi and I are dressed, had breakfast and got into Yoongi's car. Since I didn't have any other clothes with me than my dress, I asked Yoongi to drive past Alyssa's house so I could actually get properly dressed for work.

"Do you want me to wait here or will you drive to work with Alyssa?" Yoongi asks me as we both spot Alyssa's car in the driveway. "I believe Alyssa starts a little later," I tell Yoongi, "Her call in time is an hour after ours." 

Today we shoot the new BTS music video. The members have to be there early for their hair and make up, I have to be there early for the catering, but Alyssa doesn't have to do all that, so she can arrive a little later than the rest of us. Lucky bastard.

"Okay, then I'll wait here," Yoongi says. I smile at him and see a small smile on his lips as well. "Thanks, I'll be back in a second," I tell him and get out of the car. I quickly go inside and notice the silence in the house. I bet Alyssa is still asleep. Again, she is very lucky she got the extra hours of sleep unlike the most of us.

I quietly go into my room and grab some clothes from my suitcase. I get changed and also put a little make-up on my face and do my hair. I grab my shoes and go back outside without waking up Alyssa.

I hurry back into the car and close the door behind me. "Was that fast enough?" I ask. Yoongi laughs, "You were way faster than I thought you'd be, so yes." We both laugh and Yoongi starts to drive again. "Was Ali awake yet?" Yoongi asks me. "No, the lucky bastard was still asleep," I tell him. He laughs and nods.

Then he gets a little more serious. "Do you plan to tell her?" He asks me. I see how he quickly looks at me from the corner of his eye. "Uhm, I haven't thought about that honestly. Do you want me to?" I ask him. "Well, I think I prefer to keep it to ourselves for now. Just so we have no pressure yet, you know?" He explains. I smile at him and nod. "I agree," I tell him.

We both nod and look at the road again. "So, are we really gonna do this?" I ask him with a smile. Yoongi looks at me and smiles as well. We both feel a little shy since this is a new turn in our relationship. "Yeah, I guess so," he says. I giggle and feel the butterflies in my belly. "Okay, I guess so too," I say, making him chuckle as well. "So, what are you doing after work today?" He asks me. I feel my cheeks blush, "Not much. Why?" "Let's grab dinner together," He suggests. I smile wide, "Okay. Let's do that." I see how Yoongi looks at me for a second and smiles his gummy smile again. "Okay," he smiles.

A little later, we arrive at the office. Yoongi parks his car in the garage, but before I can get out, he puts his hand on mine. I look at him, wondering what is wrong, but then he puts his other hand on my cheek and softly kisses my lips. I smile against his lips and kiss him back. It feels weird to kiss him, but it also feels so right. It feels like something I have missed in my life for so long.

After the kiss, we both let go and go into the building. We quickly find the other members already. "Finally!" Seokjin says, "We thought you had overslept or something." "Of course not. I am a man of the time," Yoongi jokes. "Then why are you so late?" Hoseok asks us. "Well, we had to go to Ali's house first before we could come here," I explain. Luckily nobody finds it weird that I slept at Yoongi's place. But then again, we also did that as friends. Only then we both had our own bedroom.

"Was Ali up yet?" Namjoon asks me. I shake my head, "She wasn't. But who can blame her? Her call in time is later than ours." They all nod. "So Yana, can you fill us in about last night?" Hoseok asks me. I scare and freeze completely. What does he know?!

"Yeah, we heard you had a great time with the ATEEZ-members!" Seokjin says. I let out some air I didn't know I was holding. Thank god they mean that part of the night... I quickly shoot a glance at Yoongi, but I see a somewhat relieved look in his eyes as well.

"Yeah, we did," I proudly tell the others, "The members were really nice, really funny and really kind. We actually talked with them the entire night and it really clicked." The guys smile. "Sounds fun!" Jungkook says, "So is it really true that Ali got close with them as well?" I try not to look at Taehyung to see his reaction, but I feel like he doesn't like Jungkook's question, just like he obviously didn't like the situation between Alyssa and the ATEEZ-members last night.

But before I can answer, Yoongi does it for me. "Yes, she did. Her and the guys, especially Yeosang, really clicked and they were together for the entire night," he says. "Wait, even after we left?" Jimin asks him. I look at Yoongi. The ATEEZ-members went home around the same time we did, right? I am pretty sure Yeosang went home with his members and Alyssa went to her own house by herself. 

"Yes, I believe Yeosang went home with Alyssa," Yoongi says. Yoongi looks at me for a second and I feel like I know what he is up to. I see a small smile on his face. It looks a little dangerous, what makes my heart jump. But I try to stay focused and play along with him.

"Yes, he did. He wanted to make sure she got home safe," I tell the others. I see a small smile from Yoongi, confirming that it was indeed his plan. I look at the other guys. They look confused, but also a little glad. Maybe they are just happy to hear Alyssa had a great time.

Everyone except for one, I bet. As I look at Taehyung, he looks at the floor. He has his arms crossed and doesn't say anything. But I can see on his face he doesn't like what he hears. Of course he saw how Yeosang and Alyssa clicked last night. And yes, we all saw he did not like it. But maybe this is just what he needs. He broke up with her and he moved on with Ye-Jun, so Alyssa can move on with Yeosang if she wants to. But I bet Taehyung doesn't like that idea.

"Do you really think something more happened between them?" Hoseok asks the others. It is like we all ignore the fact that her ex-husband is here with us. Or we all just like to mess with him. I mean, it is all well deserved after he broke up with Alyssa, if you'd ask me.

"Well, I think so," Yoongi says, "He was still there when we got there a few minutes ago. Right Yana?" I look at him and feel evil for creating this scenario, but I am definitely playing along. "Yeah, I mean, we didn't see him, but we saw extra shoes and an extra coat. So I bet they were still asleep," I tell the others.

Every single one of them looks surprised, but one of them looks like he could actually fight a bear right now. I notice Taehyung's clenched fists and his clenched jaw. Oeh, he really hates this... Well, that is on himself. This is revenge for breaking my best friend's heart and leaving her for someone else.

"Wow..." Jungkook says, "I mean, good for her, I guess." The others nod. "Yeah, it is nice to know she is out there again," Namjoon says. I bet we are all looking at Taehyung from the corner of our eyes. So we all see how he struggles. He hates everything we say, but he knows he can't say a single thing about it.

"Yes," I answer Namjoon, "Maybe we will meet Yeosang again soon." I smile wide, but as all the others agree with me, one of them snaps. Taehyung scoffs and walks out of the room. We all look at him until the door is closed between him and us. Then we all look at each other and laugh a little. "Oops," Yoongi laughs. I turn to him and he gives me a high five. "Great job, Yana!" He tells me. "You too," I laugh.

All the other members look confused. "What is going on?" Seokjin asks, but he can't fight a laugh of his own. "Sorry, we were just exaggerating it a little bit," I confess. "Or actually 'a lot'," Yoongi laughs. "Wait, really?" Jimin laughs. "Yeah, Yeosang and Alyssa really clicked last night, but he did not bring her home and he didn't stay with her," I confess.

Everyone starts to laugh. "You devil!" Namjoon laughs, "Tae is gonna hate that." "Well, I bet he already does," Jungkook says. "It is just a little revenge," Yoongi laughs, "He'll survive." I agree, "And if he really hates it, he must know that his feelings for her are still there, right?"

They all think about it for a second. "I guess you're right," Jimin says. "Didn't you see how much he cares already? He heard all these things about Yeosang and Ali and he just exploded," Seokjin says. "Good to know he still loves her," I smile. I really mean it. It feels good he still loves her. Yes, I hate him for what he did to Alyssa. Part of me believes she deserves better than Taehyung, but I know he is the one she wants. So I really hope they will get back together, even though I don't fully trust him around her anymore.

But it is all up to them. It's their relationship, not ours. But of course, we love to mess around a bit. Especially if we can play with Taehyung's emotions like this. Who knows, maybe this all works as a reminder of his true love for her. Maybe after this he will finally realize who belongs with him.
