Part Ninety-Eight 아흔팔

~ Taehyung ~

After lunch me and my bandmembers go back to the studio. We were working on a new song right before our lunch break.

"Okay, Jin, let's continue with your vocals," Yoongi says. He takes his seat behind the control panel. I often sit next to him to see what he is doing. It is really amazing to see him be a real producer. It is like we see the master of the art do their job. Very inspiring, I might say.

As everyone gets ready to continue the recording session, Namjoon taps my shoulder. "Since the ATEEZ-members are here today, did you happen to talk to them about the statement?" He asks me. I feel a little confused, but I realise he is right. I never even thought of that. My mind was filled with the sight of Yeosang sitting next to Alyssa.

I hate how that still messes with me. But I guess this is what I signed up for...

"Tae?" Right, Namjoon was talking to me. "No, I didn't actually," I tell him. Namjoon nods, "Okay, I understand that your mind didn't go there during lunch. But it wouldn't be a bad idea to thank them or at least say something about it to them. They helped you and all of us, you know."

I smile. No matter what, Namjoon will always be a father figure for all of us. Even now I am a father myself, he will not hesitate to act like a dad. We know it is not just because he is used to it, but also because he prefers it this way. And so do we.

"Thank you, hyung," I tell him, "I will make sure to say something to them before they leave." Namjoon smiles, "good. I know you have some issues, but you are doing the right thing." I look down. He means my jealousy. He really knows me too well.

"I'll get over it," I tell him. Namjoon chuckles, "I know. But that doesn't mean it will be easy." I look back up to meet his eyes. "I'm afraid you're right," I smile.

"You're talking about ATEEZ?" Jimin asks. Namjoon and I look at him and nod. "Yes, why?" Namjoon asks him. "Oh nothing, just that Wooyoung said they would only be here to shoot a video and then they would leave again," Jimin explains, "So if you were talking about thanking them, I wouldn't wait too long."

Namjoon looks at me. "I have to agree with Jimin on this one," he says. I smile, "Even I have to agree with Jimin on this one." "I would almost feel honored," Jimin jokes. We all laugh.

"Permission to go to talk to the ATEEZ-members for a moment?" I ask everyone. "Fine!" "Sure!" "Of course!" I hear no objections, so I stand up. "Then that's granted. I will see you in a minute," I announce. Everyone wishes me luck. I smile, it is not a big deal, but I bet everyone knows my jealousy and insecurities when it comes to ATEEZ.

"Thanks guys," I smile. I take a deep breath and leave the studio to go to the dance studio's . When I get there, I realise I have no idea what room they are in. Luckily ATEEZ is not easy to miss, something they have in common with BTS.

I follow the noise and get to the correct room. The door is open a little bit, what allowed the noises escape into the hall.

When I enter the room, I see all the members. They are just warming up and chatting. None of them notice me standing in the door opening.

"Uhm, hey guys!" I announce myself. They all turn around and scare a little when they see me. It is obvious they didn't expect me.

"Hello Taehyung!" They say and bow politely and I immediately bow back to them. "Sorry for interrupting and barging in like this," I tell them. "Oh no, don't worry!" Hongjoong says. "You are always welcome, it is your own studio," Seonghwa smiles.

I smile back to them. "Well, no, because for now it is all yours," I tell them, "So you better make good use of it." Everyone laughs. "We will!" Mingi laughs. "I have no doubt in that, you guys are very talented," I tell them. They smile proudly and bow to me. "Thank you very much," They say.
