Part One Hundred and Nine 백구

~ Taehyung ~

I slowly turn around. Please let that not be his voice. Please let that not be him! I just did my best to talk my girl into going home! I just convinced her this battle was not meant for today! I was finally able to get her out of the fight and keep her safe!

"Mick?" Ali and I turn around and see Mick standing in front of us. Super...

I stay close to Alyssa and secretly take a step forward, to stand in front of her. If Mick would try to come closer to her, I will be there faster. I will be able to stop him.

I quickly look from Alyssa to Mick. I see the fear on Alyssa's face, combined with the anger she is still holding for him. I know the feeling, because I am holding onto the same anger.

I look at Mick. He just has a smile on his face. A smile that holds a million secrets. At least, that's what I see.

Honestly, I don't even know if he really is behind all this. But I just don't trust him either way. He hurt my girl before and I can not be sure that he won't do it again. So I will keep him away from her. Just in case.

"How are you doing?" Mick asks us. He smiles at Alyssa, who kindly tries to smile back to him. I can see right through her, but maybe Mick is still fooled by that smile.

"We are doing great, how are you?" She asks him. Man, she sounds fake. I know she tries to sound friendly, but I can feel the fire behind every word. I hope he can't feel that too.

"I am doing well too, thanks!" He smiles. He looks from her to me. I can see he is making his conclusions already. I feel scared. Is it obvious that we are in a relationship? I mean, he knows we were, but can he tell it now? But... If he was already here, he might have seen the conversation Alyssa and I had just now... Yeah, he must know the truth... I just pray he didn't take any footage of that... Not that we kissed or something, but it can still look bad...

I hold all my thoughts and emotions inside of me and try to look at him with a straight face. He won't get a smile from me, not even a fake one. But I am sure he knows why.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him straightforward. He looks at me for one second and then looks back to Alyssa. "I was hoping to run into you actually, Ali," he tells her. He is already pushing my buttons by only talking to her. Like I don't exist. Well, I dare him to continue with that, I will happily show him I do exist.

"Why?" I ask him. Again, he looks at me for a split second before looking back at Alyssa. He looks really serious and he even looks down before he speaks. Is he nervous? Or just acting nervous?

"I wanted to apologize..." he then says, surprising both me and Alyssa. "W-What?" Alyssa asks, "Apologize? For what?" It takes her one second to think about what he means. "It was you, wasn't it? You created that article about Taehyung," she says.

Mick looks back up to us. He looks... Scared?

"No, that was not me," he says, "I swear! I don't do that stuff anymore!" Alyssa looks at me at the same time I look at her. Without looks we are asking each other if we trust him. But I have a feeling both our answers are no.

"Like we would trust you on your word," I tell Mick. He sighs, "I know... But I swear! I didn't take that photo and I didn't write the article!" He looks desperate. But he sounds... weird... I can't put a finger on it. But luckily, Alyssa can.

"What about it then? What are you apologizing for? Something not related to that article?" Alyssa asks him. Mick sighs and looks down, "No... It is indeed related to that..."

I groan and roll my eyes. "Just tell us what you did," I tell him. He slowly looks back up and looks at Alyssa. "I didn't take the photo... But I might accidentally caused it..." He says.
