Part Forty-Nine 사십구

Today is the day. Today is the start of a new adventure. A very excited, but also very stressful adventure. Not only because of all the work that needs to be done during the trip, but also because of our travel buddies... Also known as Ye-Jun and crew.

After I have talked with Taehyung and later on with Yana, Kaylee and the other members of BTS, I feel somehow ready for this adventure. Even though I didn't want to go because of the attendance of Ye-Jun and her crew, I feel ready and excited again. During my talks with everyone, we made a deal to have fun and completely ignore Ye-Jun and her crew. Of course, we will all be nice to them - especially the members, because they are somewhat friends with Ye-Jun - but we will focus on each other and have fun together.

I feel honored to have so much support and love from everyone. Only with their help, I can make this trip a positive and exciting trip. 

"Omma!" Yoonah shouts from her room, "Where is my RJ?" I can't help but laugh a little as I go into her room. As a member of our BTS-family, she obviously has all the BT21-characters as cuddly toys. BT21-characters are characters made by the members themselves. And all though Yoonah has a favorite uncle - even though she won't admit it - she doesn't have a favorite BT21-character. She loves all of their characters equally. What means all of the characters have to travel with her everywhere she goes. Luckily they are not that big... Oh wait, they are...

When I enter her room, I see a stressed Yoonah. She sits in front of her closet and looks for her RJ, Jin's character. "I can't find it..." She says. I smile, stay calm and help her look for it. "Where did you last see it?" I ask her. "I don't know..." She whines, starting to tear up. I put my hand on her shoulder and take a look at her toys. I see Mang (J-Hope's character), Kookie (Jungkook's character), Koya (Namjoon's character), Shooky (Yoongi's character), Tata (Taehyung's character) and Chimmy (Jimin's character). But indeed, RJ is missing.

"I'll look for him in your room," Yoonah says and runs away. "My room? Why would I have him?" I ask her loud enough for her to hear me in my room. "Because I was laying in your bed with Yeontan and RJ," she says. I laugh a little. "Did aunt Yana allow you all to lay on my bed?" I ask her. As an answer I hear a soft giggle from her. "Maybe..." She giggles.

When I hear a loud cheer, I know she found her RJ. And indeed, within a few seconds, she runs back into her room holding RJ. Yeontan runs after her and looks at her and RJ with an excited face. "Yeontan had him," Yoonah says and lays RJ next to the other characters on her bed. "Maybe Yeontan loves RJ too," I tell her. "Yes! We should get an RJ for Tannie!" Yoonah says. I laugh and look at her bed filled with toys. "Why not share your RJ with him?" I ask, but she quickly grabs her RJ again and locks it between her arms. "NO! This RJ is mine!" She says, hugging it tightly.

I laugh and nod, "Okay, okay. Then maybe we should get Tannie his own RJ." Yoonah nods and carefully puts RJ back on her bed. "You know, you can't keep all of them with you in the airplane, honey," I tell her. Yoonah whines, "I want them all..." I smile and put my hand on her head. "Sorry, baby, you can only pick one to keep with you. All the others will see you in LA, okay?" I ask her. She takes a deep breath like she is preparing herself to make the harders decision of her life. "But who..."

She looks at all her toys one by one. I look at her and see how she is in deep thoughts. She even crosses her arms as she tries to figure it out. It looks absolutely adorable.

Then she looks at me again. "Can I have two?" She asks me. I laugh and shake my head. "No, baby, you won't carry two of them with you all day," I tell her. She sighs and looks back at her toys. Within a minute, she has an idea and smiles wide. "Can I have two and then leave my pillow behind?" She asks me. I laugh, she is very clever!
