Part Forty-Eight 사십팔

~ Taehyung ~

"I bet I can do the dance at dubbel speed!" Jimin laughs proudly. "Challenge accepted!" Jungkook immediately shouts, "But I'll beat you!" We all laugh and look at them. "I bet I can beat all of you at half speed," Yoongi jokes, making us all laugh again. "Why don't we first do another take so we can finish the dance practice video?" Jesse suggests.

"I agree with Jesse," Hoseok says, "After that, you boys can challenge each other all you want." Namjoon stands up as well. "Okay, you heard them boys!" He says. We all stop joking around and get in position again. "Ready, Kayls?" Jimin asks Kaylee. Kaylee stands in the room with us, holding her camera to film us during practice.

"I told you to not call me that, Jiminshi," she laughs. "When you call me Jiminshi, I will call you Kayls," Jimin shoots back, making us all chuckle. "Will you call us Kayls then too, Jiminshi?" I joke. Jimin groans and gives me a playful push. "Watch it, Taehyung-ah," he whines. I laugh and stick out my tongue to tease him.

"Are the girls done? Can we start the practice?" Hoseok asks us. "Yes, sorry Hobi," Jimin and I say at the same time, making him laugh again. "Great, thanks Hobi," Jesse says. He looks at Kaylee. "Ready?" He asks her. Kaylee nods, "Yes! In three, two, one..." Jesse starts the music and Kaylee starts filming.

We all dance to our newest song. We have been practicing this song for a while now, so we all know every single step. For the past weeks we have only been trying to get it perfectly. Now I can proudly say we have it perfectly. That's why we are shooting the dance practice video now. Man, I can't wait for the fans to see this video.

After we finished the shoot, we all take a seat on the floor. "Great job, guys!" Jesse says and applauds for us, "I am proud of you!" We all smile wide and give each other a high five. "Can we see it back?" Jin immediately asks Kaylee. "Of course!"

We all gather around and look at the video Kaylee just made. I must say, we look really good. I notice how our timing is nearly perfect. I can't say it differently. I am just very proud of us.

As the video ends, we hear a soft knock on the door. "Come in!" Jesse says. The door opens and we see James walking in. We all look a little confused since he rarely ever comes here. "James! How nice of you to join the practice," Jin jokes. We all laugh and tag along. "If you warm up, we will be right with you," Jungkook jokes.

But as we all laugh, James is far from laughing. "Are you okay?" Jesse asks him. "We were just kidding. We all know you are way better than us," Namjoon jokes. James laughs a little, but looks down. "Actually... I am here because I need to talk to you about something..." He says. We all look worried and stop laughing and joking around. This looks serious.

"What is going on?" Kaylee asks him. James sighs, "It's about Alyssa..." Immediately we are all focused. I feel my heart ache already, even though I have no idea what he is about to say. But I can tell something is wrong. He wouldn't be here looking like this is everything would be fine.

"What about her?" I ask him. We all take a seat and look at James, waiting for him to speak. "After the meeting we had this morning, she told me..." I could literally slap him for pausing right now. What did she tell him?! Why is he not telling us?!

"Told you what?!" Yoongi asks him, nearly loosing his patients as well. James clears his throat like it is hard for him to say. Or because he doesn't realise what is going on or something... He looks so confused.

"She told me that she will not join us to LA next week..." He finally says. We all scare. She... She won't join us to LA? What? Ever since the idea was made to go to LA, she was the one person who was most excited. I know how much she wanted to go back there and see her parents again. But also because she loves the city and I know deep down she misses living there. Why would she not go with us?
