Part Ninety-One 아흔일

The shower doesn't calm my nerves as much as I hoped it would. I can't help it. Taehyung wants to talk about us... He is right, we should talk about us. But I don't know what to say.

I take a deep breath as the soap flushes down the drain. Too bad it doesn't take my nerves with it. But I can do this. I just have to speak my mind. I just have to hear what he has to say.

Oh god, what if he tells me he and Ye-Jun are officially dating? No, that can't be it. He looked happy when I told him about the pregnancy. If he would be together with Ye-Jun, he wouldn't be happy to have another child with me.

I turn off the shower and grab my towel. With a little hesitation, I get dressed and do my hair. What calms me, is that I hear the adorable voice of Yoonah singing with Taehyung. I can hear her giggle during the song. It makes me smile through my nerves.

I slowly go into the living room again and see Taehyung and Yoonah sitting on the floor as they finish a song. When the music stops, they look at each other and laugh. "Great job, princess!" Taehyung says. He wraps his arms around Yoonah, who happily hugs him back. "Thank you, appa!"

Then they both turn around to me. "Did you have a nice shower?" Taehyung asks me. I nod a little, "I did, thank you." Taehyung nods as well, "Jin and Jimin will be over any minute and they will take Yoonah to a park." I nod and look at Yoonah, "Okay, so you're spending some time with your uncles. Are you excited?" Yoonah jumps up and nods, "Yes! And maybe we can get some ice cream as well." I smile at her, "Well, that's up to them."

A few minutes later, the doorbell rings. I open the door and see Jin and Jimin. "Hey Ali!" We great each other with a hug. "How are you?" Jin asks me. I feel like he means more than he says. "I am okay," I tell him and smile to empower my words. Jin nods and puts his hand on my shoulder. "You can always call if you need anything, please remember that," he says, "Not just today." I smile a little more by his words. "Thank you, Jin, I will remember that."

"Jinnie!!" Yoonah runs through the house to greet her uncle. She nearly jumps him and gives him a big hug. "Hey there, Yoonah!" Jin laughs and hugs her back. "What about me?" A pouting Jimin asks. Yoonah immediately lets go of Jin and runs to Jimin. "Jimin!!!" She shouts and hugs him as well.

We all laugh. "That's more like it!" Jimin laughs. "Thank you for watching her, guys," Taehyung says. "No problem! I was starting to miss her already," Jin smiles. "Are you ready for a day with your best uncles?" Jimin asks Yoonah. She giggles and nods. "Yes!" She quickly grabs her bag and gives Taehyung and me a hug goodbye.

"Be nice, okay?" I ask her. "Always, omma!" She smiles. I smile and put a kiss on her head. "See you soon. I love you," I tell her. "I love you too, omma," she smiles. She says bye to Taehyung and me and happily runs outside with Jin and Jimin. "We'll stay in touch," Taehyung says before they completely disappear. "Yes, we will be back before dinner or just call us," Jimin says.

I smile at them. "Thank you, guys," I tell them. Jin and Jimin smile back. "No problem, really! We'll see you in a bit. Bye!" Jin, Jimin and Yoonah wave us goodbye and then they leave.

I slowly close the door and take a deep breath. I feel the nerves run around in my body. I turn around to Taehyung. He stands next to me with his hands in his pocket. "So..." He uncomfortably starts. "So..." I uncomfortably repeat.

"Why don't we take a seat in the living room?" He suggests. I nod and follow him there. We both take a seat on the couch. We sit next to each other, but we make sure to leave enough space between us.

We both stay quiet once again. How do we start this? Who should start this? Should I say something? Should he say something? But where do we start?

"Ali, shall I say something first?" He asks. I avoid his eyes and nod. "Y-Yeah sure," I say.
