Part One Hundred and Five 백오

With a fast heartbeat, I walk down the street. I pray to god he is in Jimin's house. Even though he is staying there, he could be out. He could be everywhere but in that house. But I have to look there first. I don't know what I will do if he is not there. But time will tell.

I get to Jimin's house and walk up to the door. Then the panic hits me. What will I tell him? Just a simple 'let's get back together'? No, that shouldn't be it. He deserves more than that... But what?

As I stand in front of the door, I try to get all my thoughts in order. What should I tell him? How can I tell him everything I want him to know?

The door opens before I even ring the bell. I scare and freeze completely. Shit! No time to think anymore!

Jimin appears in the door opening. "Ali?" He looks confused, "What are you doing here? Is everything okay?" I try to unfreeze as quickly as possible. "Uhm, yeah, everything is fine," I tell him, "Is Taehyung here?" I might be too straight to the point, but I can't help it. I am barely in control of my emotions right now.

"Yes, he is here. Why don't you come in? I will get him," Jimin says. He steps aside and calls for Taehyung. I slowly move myself into the house and close the door behind me.

"Ali?" I turn around and see Taehyung. He looks worried and stands a few foot away from me. "Are you okay?" He asks. I take a deep breath. "Yes, well no," I stutter. Taehyung carefully takes a step forward and keeps his eyes on me. "What's going on?" He asks. I hear the fear in his voice.

"Nothing I..." I take a deep breath to calm my nerves. It is just Taehyung, Alyssa... You got this...

"I just saw your video from 'LeeMujin Service'," I say. Taehyung looks confused. "Oh..." He says, but then he realizes what I mean. He realizes what happened in that episode and what songs he sang. "Right... Look, I chose these songs because they really express my feelings. When I had to pick a few songs to sing, any other song didn't fit. I just wanted to sing out my emotions... I hope I didn't hurt you by doing so," he says.

I look at him and can't help but smile a little. "I understand," I tell him. "You do?" He immediately asks. "Yes, I do... In fact... I felt these songs as well..." I tell him.

He looks a little confused. "What do you mean?"

I take a deep breath. Now is the time. Now is the time to grab his hand and jump.

"Look, Taehyung... We have been through a lot. Before our break-up, during our break-up and now... It has not been easy for either of us," I start, "I have to say, I have not been the easiest to deal with. You really showed that you were sorry and that you wanted to get back together. You tried to show me I could trust you that neither of this would ever happen again... But I was too scared to see it..."

Taehyung's eyes find mine. I see sparkles in his eyes and a small smile on his face. He understands what I am saying, yet he doesn't want to do anything before I have really said it. At least, that what it looks like.

"So what are you suggesting?" He carefully asks. I feel a smile grow on my face, but I try to stay focused. I need to say it out loud. All of it.

"Taehyung, I am not saying you didn't hurt me, because you did. But a lot has happened since then. We both dealt with it in our own ways. We took our own path and tasted what life was like without having each other on our sides. But we were both hurting very much..." I tell him.
