--Later that night, 1am, Aubrey's room--

Aubrey can't sleep, she's been tossing and turning all night long. After trying for 4 hours, she decided it was time to see her father. Aubrey creeps out of bed carefully trying not to make a sound.

She manages to walk across the room and across the hall until she walked on a weak slap of wood and caused it to snap and make her leg fall through. She whimpered lightly hoping she wouldn't wake anyone from their night sleep. She hoped the wrong thing, she heard someone laugh at her, she also heard someone waking up.

She looked everywhere around the hall and couldn't spot anyone. Aubrey started hearing footsteps, she silently screamed and snatched her leg from the newly made hole and ran into Ross' room locking the door behind her.

Aubrey: Daddy! Daddy wake up!

Aubrey heard slight groaning, but it sounded nothing like her father. She decided to turn the light on, and when she did she saw something she wish she hadn't.

Aubrey screams at the top of her lungs. She's seeing her father with a knife through his head and to the side of him is Uncle Ratliff.

Aubrey: UNCLE RIKER! AUNT RYDEL! UNCLE ROCKY! UNCLE RYLAND! HELP ME PLEASE!

Suddenly you could hear many feet running up and down the hall.

Ryland: WHAT ROOM?!

Aubrey: DADS!

Everyone runs in and most burst into tears whilst others are holding them back.

Riker: RATLIFF! Good job.

Aubrey's very confused.

Aubrey: H-W-The FUCK IS GOING ON?!?!

Everyone bursts into laughter.

Aubrey: WHAT?!

Ratliff: Aubrey, what's the date?

Aubrey: I-I don't know! Something like April 1st, wh- Oh my god.

Everyone laughs at her, including Ross.

Aubrey starts crying and everyone stops laughing.

Ross feels guilty.

Ross: Baby girl come here.

Ross holds his arms out for her.

Aubrey runs into his arms crying.

Aubrey: I t-thought you w-were d-d-d-dead!

Ross: I'm sorry Aubrey.

Aubrey: Y-you better be!

Ratliff: And Aubrey guess what?

Aubrey: WHAT?!

Ryland: Your parents aren't getting divorced, your brother is fine and Emily is fine.

Aubrey: WHAT KIND OF DICKS ARE YOU?!

Everyone is taken back by her reaction, Aubrey calms down.

Aubrey: Guys seriously, I thought my life was upside down, I thought everything was going terrible. I actually thought of committing suicide!

Everyone is extremely shocked now.

Ross: B-baby? Are you s-serious?

Aubrey nods.

Aubrey: Never been more serious in my life.

Rydel starts crying.

Aubrey: So, Uncle Ratliff's not trying to sleep with me?

Ratliff: No, I would never do that.

Aubrey turns to face Ross.

Aubrey: So you and mum are still married?

Ross nods his head smiling.

Aubrey: Then what did mum sign?

??: She signed a piece of paper allowing herself to come and move in with you, and bring Ryder along.

Aubrey turns around.

Aubrey: MUM!

Aubrey runs to Laura and hugs her so tightly.

Aubrey: I love you so much mum! Never EVER forget that! I'm so sorry for what I said to you back at the hospital.

Laura chuckles.

Laura: It's fine baby.

??: AUBREY!

Aubrey turns around, again.

Aubrey: RYDER!

Ryder runs up to Aubrey and Aubrey throws him in the air and catches him.

Ryder: You're an amazing big sister, you know that?

Aubrey: I do now. So we're still one happy family?

Everyone: YES!

Aubrey: Thank god! So wait, who kissed mum?

Nobody raise their hands.

Aubrey's really confused.

Everyone chuckles.

Aubrey: Seriously! Who kissed mum?!

Ross: Ratliff did but it meant nothing to either of them.

Aubrey: So all of this was planned for April fools?

Everyone nods. Aubrey covers Ryder's ears.

Aubrey: You bitches!

Everyone except Ryder: We know.

Aubrey: You guys had me so scared!

Riker: We know. We saw!

Aubrey: Then what's wrong with Emily? Why isn't she here too?

Everyone signs disappointed.

Ryder: Aubrey, you might want to sit down.

Aubrey's confused once again.

Aubrey: W-why?

Laura: I'm sorry baby.

Aubrey: For what?

Rydel: She... S-she...

Aubrey: She what?! Seriously guys, come on!

Rocky: She moved back to Canada.

Aubrey's face drops.

Aubrey: W-what? I-I barely even got to see her and now she's already gone?! Who sent her back?!

Ryland: Raini and Calum knew you guys won't forgive them anytime soon, so the three of them moved into Emily's home in Canada.

Everyone: We're sorry Aubrey.

Aubrey: When did she...leave?

Laura: The day you saw her, she could only remember her parents. She wanted to know where her home was. Raini and Calum took her home, packed her bags and left.

Aubrey's eyes fill with tears.

Aubrey: Please excuse me.

She gets up, leaves the room and goes to hers. Once she locks her bedroom door, she slides down it and cries. She knew Emily would go back one day. She's just sad it's so soon. They barley got to hang out like old times.
