--With Ross--
Ross is pacing around the house.
Ross: Where is she?! She's supposed to be in bed, asleep!
Laura grabs Ross by the shoulders.
Laura: Ross calm down! She'll turn up shortly!
There's a loud bang coming from outside the house which takes the attention away from Aubrey missing. Ross and Laura exchange glances.
Laura: Go and see who's at the door.
Ross whines.
Ross: Why can't you?
Laura: Because I'm in bed!
And with that Laura runs upstairs and closes the bedroom door. Ross groans.
Ross: Very funny Laura!
With that Ross walks to the door and opens it. Ross glares at the person.
??: Look, I can explain!
Ross: Aubrey where the hell have you been?!
Aubrey sighs.
Aubrey: I was out.
Ross: With who?
Aubrey sighs and mumbles.
Aubrey: Uncle Riker.
Ross: I'm sorry, I didn't hear.
Aubrey speaks up so Ross could hear her.
Aubrey: I was out with Uncle Riker.
Ross' eyes widen.
Ross: WHAT?!
Aubrey lies through her teeth.
Aubrey: Dad don't worry, he didn't do anything!
Ross: Really?
Aubrey nods.
Ross: Truthfully?
Aubrey nods and lies again.
Aubrey: Yup, nothing happened.
Ross: Ok.
With that Ross walked away, Aubrey sighed with relief and went up to bed.
--Next day--
Everyone's downstairs but Ryder and they're eating breakfast.
Ross: Aubrey, I have trouble believing what you said last night.
Aubrey: Ok well, which bit are you troubled with?
Ross: The bit when you said you and Uncle Riker did nothing.
Aubrey: Why don't you believe me?
Ross: Because I've seen.
Aubrey froze, she put down her cutlery and walked upstairs to her room and slammed the door shut. Ross sighs and Laura looks at Ross confused.
Laura: What's going on?
Ross pulls out his phone and showed Laura the picture. Laura gasps.
Laura: It could be an edit?
Ross: Ok, but how would people know Riker loves Aubrey? Nobody knows apart from this family!
Laura sighs and places her hand on Ross'.
Laura: Go and talk to her.
Ross sighs and hits his head on the table multiple times.
Ross: I talk to her anyways, she doesn't want me to be mad at her, that's why she lied.
