Badass meets Bad Boy

--At the hospital, with Aubrey--

Aubrey woke up to a room she didn't recognise. The walls were all empty and white...it looked so boring and dull. She slowly starts climbing out of bed when a man walks in wearing a long, white, lab coat.

Aubrey: Who are you? Where am I?

The doctor sighs.

Doctor: I'm Doctor Gold and you're in the hospital.

Aubrey's confused.

Aubrey: What's a hospital?

The doctor writes something on his clipboard and sighs.

Doctor: Aubrey, can you please tell me what you remember?

Aubrey remains silent and the doctor looks at her.

Doctor: Aubrey?

Aubrey turns around then faces him.

Aubrey: Who are you talking to?

The doctor sighs.

Doctor: I'm talking to you Aubrey.

Aubrey: Who's Aubrey?

Doctor: You.

Aubrey laughs.

Aubrey: I think I'd remember my own name, don't you?

Doctor: Obviously not because you don't remember it.

Aubrey sighs and looks down. The doctor sighs and sits at the end of her bed.

Doctor: Please Aubrey, try and remember what last happened?

Aubrey thinks long and hard.

Aubrey: Umm...I've just beaten cancer! I had it for around ten years.

Aubrey smiles proudly and the doctors eyes widen. Aubrey looks at him concerned.

Aubrey: Is everything ok? Anything wrong Doctor?

The doctor shakes his head and smiles weakly.

Doctor: Everything's fine.

The doctor then silently walks out of the room.

--In the waiting room--

Ross is shaking and Laura's cradling a sleeping Ryder in her arms.

Rydel: I'll go call mum and dad.

Rydel walks outside of the hospital and calls them.

Rocky: You ok Ross?

Ross nods and talks really fast.

Ross: I'm just worried about Aubrey! I mean, what happens if she dies when we see her?! What happens if she don't know who any of us are?! What happens if she doesn't know who she is?! Then what?!

Riker: Ross, you need to breathe in and out deeply otherwise you'll pass out.

Ross: C-can't b-breathe!

Ross starts gasping for air. Ryland runs to the canteen and grabs a brown paper bag and hands it to Riker. Riker scrunched it up and held it against Ross' mouth making him breathe in and out. After a couple of minutes Ross is calm and Stormie and Mark walk in.

Stormie: Have we missed anything?

Mark: How is she?

Ross is about to answer when the doctor walks up to them.

Doctor: Aubrey Lynch?

Laura stands up first but is shortly followed by Ross and everyone else.

Robyn: How is she?
