Ryder's supposed to have green eyes.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Aubrey: I have never been so excited to go to work in my life!

Laura: Maybe that's because you didn't know Oscar was going to work there.

Ross walks in.

Ross: Who's working where?

Laura: Oscar now works at the Co-op.

Ross is speechless.

Ross: Oscar as in-

Laura, Rydel and Aubrey nod and Ross sighs turning to face Aubrey.

Ross: Aubrey, you must quit your job.

Aubrey: WHAT?! No no no no no, dad! You CANT do that!

Ross: Why not?

Aubrey struggles to find something to say.

Aubrey: B-because I'll...move out! Yea, I'll move out!

Laura: No!Aubrey you're staying and not going anywhere!

Aubrey: Not if dad makes me quit work.

Ross sighs and walks out of the room. Laura sighs.

Laura: I'll go talk to him.

Aubrey: Good because I wasn't. Anyways I need to get myself ready for work.

Rydel smiles strangely at Aubrey and Aubrey laughs.

Aubrey: Aunt Rydel, would you like to help me with a little bit of makeup that'll suit my uniform?

Rydel starts squealing.

Rydel: I thought you'd never ask!

Rydel and Aubrey run up the stairs and get Aubrey ready for work.

--Ross and Laura--

Laura knocks on her and Ross' bedroom door.

Laura: Can I come in?

Ross: Is Aubrey with you?

Laura looks around.

Laura: No, it's just me.

For a few seconds you couldn't hear anything, but then you could hear Ross scraping his feet across the floor then him unlocking the door. Ross opened the door to show Laura himself with puffy red eyes, and tear stains down his face. Laura gasps and hugs him tight.

Laura: What happened?

Ross: I-I can't believe I-I'm loosing m-my b-baby girl!

Laura: Aw, baby.

Laura strokes his hair softly.

Laura: You haven't lost her. She's staying and we both know that.

Ross shrugs.

Ross: Am I a bad father?

Laura's shocked.

Laura: No! Why would you think that? The kids love you!

Ross: Yea but Aubrey threatened to leave! And that was because of me.

Ross looks down.

Laura: Don't listen to her, she's a teenager and she's going through phases.

Ross: Will that stop?

Laura: What the phases?

Ross nods.

Laura: In a few years.

Ross' eyes widen.

Ross: I can't wait for my princess for that long!
