This year marks the 150th death anniversary of the three Filipino Catholic priests (GomBurZa) who were executed by garrote on February 17, 1872, in Luneta Bagumbayan, Philippines by Spanish colonial authorities on charges of subversion arising from the 1872 Cavite mutiny.
To commemorate their patriotism, I am writing this story as reminder to always celebrate the freedom we enjoyed today and to honor their contribution to the first spark of revolution 150 years ago. However, this story is not about the above-mentioned names, but a story crafted through the author's imagination inspired by such events.
This story is written in Filipino and Spanish in few scenes.
