Chapter 61

Jin could hear the sounds of sex all around him, and it made him giggle; he knew just how happy his Beta mates were right now. Because he felt what they were experiencing last night. Do what he was intended to do. Is it pointless to knot an Alpha? Yes, but it's pointless to knot a beta, yet they get the same satisfaction from doing it as they do when they get to do it. 

The dresser was built, and he was pulling out the changing table when Yoongi and Jimin walked in holding hands. He smiled at both of them, and they came over immediately and started helping. By the time they finished it, Tae and Jungkook walked in, giving Tae a piggyback ride. "I wanted to wait until you got here so we could build the crib together."

Jungkook teared up a bit and put Tae down. He walked over to the eldest, wrapped his arms around him, and pulled him in for a kiss. Jin wrapped his hands around him and just kissed him back. He heard Tae snickering, "I'll start on the rocking chair while those two make out in the corner."

He started pull back and yell at him, 'Don't. I need to kiss you, Jin, please. I can't explain it, but seeing the crib..'

'I understand, Alpha, and I'm so sorry I failed you, our Omega, and your pup. I will never forgive myself. I know it's not much, but the Moon Goddess promised me we'd each have a pup.'

He could feel the tears running down his face. Jin squeezed him harder and kissed him until he pulled away. They both needed this. His forehead rested against other's. "I love you, Jin. I don't blame you. Thank you for giving me this gift."

Jin knew he meant telling him about the Moon Goddess and waiting for him to help with the crib and that his pup would never replace the Alpha's, but since Mason is his destined mate, any pup he had would make his Alpha happy. By the time they got the crib out of the box, Hobi and Joon walked in. It looked like Joon had been crying. 'Are you okay, my Alpha?'

'I'm great, Jinnie, I promise. I told Hobi that he could use me to keep his cock warm and, in the morning, knot me again. I know you go to JK for that, but I thought you might let me do it. Then, after Hobi, I want you to knot me. When it's just the two of us.'

'You make us so happy, Alpha. I love you.'

'I love you too, my beautiful Beta.'

They finished the nursery and it was so cute, Jin couldn't wait until Mason got home and saw it. "What time is he getting back?"

Jungkook looked at the clock—it was almost midnight—and frowned. "He should have been back by now." 

Joon tried to link him, but he wasn't answering. He frowned, "Did he fall asleep?" He tried linking the director, but she wasn't answering either. "What the hell is going on?" He sent out a pack-wide message asking if anyone had seen the Luna. Everyone said no, and a few elders said he left hours ago to come home.

How does he tell his mates this? He took a deep breath and looked at his six worried mates. "Something is wrong; no one has seen Mason. We have to go look for him."

They all took off, and as soon as they were outside, they shifted and went in different directions. Jin found his scent in the woods, covered with the smells of several different alphas. Jin howled; he heard his mates running towards him as he howled towards the moon. 'I'm sorry, Beta, it must be this way. Always remember that I told you that you will be blessed. You can save him, save the pup. But it would be best if you went now. They are hours ahead of you and running fast.'

Jin looked at his mates, 'Mason is gone. He was taken. The Moon Goddess said if we hurry, we might be able to save them.'

Mason was so happy; he knew that his Alphas were making his Betas so happy. "Luna, it's only 6. Why are you leaving so soon?"

Mason rolled his eyes at Robert, "I have to swing by the greenhouse and ensure the Alphas did what I asked. Then I have to buy them a few things for the pup." He knew that was the only way he would get him to let him go. Luna or not, Robert is a demanding elder.

"Oh of course, so sorry Luna."

Mason made it down the steps and turned to the left. He saw Erin, one of the packs of Betas that work in other villages, and everything went black. When he woke up, he was in a place he swore he would never see again. "Look, the disgusting faggot is finally awake."

Mark, his most hated brother. Not that Max was much better, but he was better than Mark. "Why am I here, Mark?"

He kneeled in front of him and placed his hand on Mason's stomach, "Once you are far enough along, I'm going to cut this pup out of you and raise it as my own. I'm going to do it while your disgusting mates watch from behind bars where they are helpless to save you or their child."

His hand pushed Omega's shirt up. He wasn't very far along, but he was showing. "This pup will be mine. I don't care if its parents are a disgraced Prince and a lowly Beta. I will raise it, and if Max can't provide an heir soon, then it'll be me who takes over the throne, and I am going to kill every single one of your mates and everyone in that village that tried to hide you."

Mason whimpered; he couldn't protect his mates or his pup. He was back in the clutches of his family, who hated him. They will beat him and starve him like before, and he's not sure if his pup can survive that. "I'm sorry, my little pup; Mama isn't strong enough to protect you. You are such a blessing from the Moon Goddess, but I'm not sure if you'll ever get to see the world," he whispered to his stomach.
