"Man... It's surreal to be back in the States after so many months travelling the world!" Jack says as the team climbs out of the Jeeps, "it's fitting that we're in Pacific Bay! This is where I recruited Adalet and Fili!"

"It's like coming full circle," Fili agrees, locking the door of the Jeep he drove, "I bet the old team will be surprised to see us! They don't know we're coming, right?"

"I only informed Chief Marquez, so she would be aware of the Bureau stopping in her city to refuel, a courtesy call, but she promised to keep our arrival a secret to surprise the rest of Adalet's old team," Chief Ripley smiles as they walk towards the entrance to the PBPD station, "I trust you are planning to surprise them, Adalet?"

Adalet grins, "wouldn't have it any other way, Chief!"

The Bureau falls silent as they approach the Pacific Bay police station. Adalet couldn't believe it had been over a year since she last walked through those doors... To think, the last time she and her family had been in Pacific Bay, they were saving the world from an evil scientist hell-bent on destroying it, and now, she and the Bureau were trying to save the world from SOMBRA. Pushing open the glass doors, the Bureau files inside to find Adalet's old teammates.

Navigating the hallways was easy for Adalet and Hunter. Soon, they arrived at the bullpen where she, Frank, and Amy used to have their desks... Now, only Amy had a desk in there alongside other detectives and investigators. Adaet hoped her friend had found a good new partner to work with.

The rest of the office looked much the same, with its large monitor on one wall, the hallway leading to the labs, and the glass wall dividing Andrea's office from the rest of the space. Speaking of the Chief, Andrea rushed out of her office the second she saw the Bureau entering with a large grin on her face. Not much had changed in her appearance since the last time Adalet saw her, but Andrea's hair was styled differently; the upper part was tied back to keep it out of her face.

"Adalet! It's so good to see you again!" Andrea beams, "how have your travels with the Bureau been?"

"Exciting, to say the least!" Adalet chuckled, "never a dull moment when chasing criminals across the globe... How have things been here in Pacific Bay?"

"A lot calmer with Tesla gone and Meteor Systems being dissolved," she reports, "we still have enough murders to keep us busy, but they're much more spread out now!"

"That's good; I mean, murder's not great," Fili corrected, "but at least the numbers are going down!"

"Yes," Andrea agrees, "now, how about we make this a proper reunion?"

The Chief steps back into her office and holds down the activation button on her PA system microphone. She calls for the PB homicide team to report to the bullpen immediately and rejoins the Bureau to wait for their arrival. A few minutes later, they could hear people walking down the lab hallway.

"I swear, Russell, if you annoyed the Chief with your rambling again, you're on your own!" Hannah declares.

"Why do you assume I'm the one in trouble? Maybe she's mad because Roxie did that autopsy on an alligator!" Russell countered.

"It ate a murdered man's legs! What was I supposed to do? Leave them to be digested?" Roxie demands, "besides, the alligator was already dead after the poacher shot it! And we wouldn't have solved the case without getting those legs back!"

"Are we really going to argue about this now?" Yann questions.

"Yes!" the three replied in unison.

The forensic expert sighed.
