Chapter 65 | First time they talked

Mi So and Se Mi were unhappy. Taehyung was also unhappy. Ever since he knew that Y/n almost remarried and gave birth, his heart had never been calm for a day.

He had always thought that Y/n went to the blind date program to make up the numbers. Now it seemed that she really wanted to find a father for the child, so she chose someone like Dae Seong.

Thinking about how Y/n was almost destroyed, the feeling of self-blame and regret filled his nerves. Y/n's current state was all caused by him. He had to find a way to make up for it.

Because of this thought, Taehyung was not in the mood to work these few days. After work, he did not go home. Instead, he drove to the residential area where Y/n lived and found out that Jimin had become a frequent visitor to Y/n's house.

Seeing Jimin swaggering into Y/n's house and accompanying Noah for a walk and play, Taehyung's mood could not be described with words.

Jimin, this playboy, looked at Y/n with a burning gaze. Even a blind person could feel it. It was impossible for Y/n not to know. She did not refuse and allowed Jimin to come and go freely in and out of her house. She must have thoughts about Jimin as well. Taehyung felt pain, anxiety, and anger in his heart.

How could Y/n love someone the moment she saw him? The most important thing was that he clearly asked Spencer to tell Kim Ga Eun about the relationship between Jimin and Y/n. Why hadn't the Kim family and Park family taken action yet?

Taehyung felt uncomfortable, but there was nothing he could do. He just stood guard in Y/n's residential area every day.

He watched helplessly as Jimin sent Y/n home. After they finished eating, he would see Jimin carrying Noah, Y/n and Hyun Woo walking outside with a few people to digest their food.

They looked very happy and harmonious, but he felt as if thousands of arrows had pierced his heart, and he was in so much pain that he wanted to die.

But no matter how painful it was, he could not leave. He was worried. He had to see Jimin leave with his own eyes before he could let go of his hanging heart.

Taehyung knew that his actions were ridiculous. He was just an ex-husband who had gotten a divorce because of a mistake. He had no reason to interfere with Y/n's freedom. Staying here and watching was just asking for a beating. He knew everything, but he could not control his actions.

When Taehyung returned home, it was already past ten o'clock. When he entered the house, he saw Mi So sitting in the living room with a gloomy face. He tiredly instructed the maids, "Prepare some food. I will take a bath and eat."

Seeing him go upstairs, Mi So called him, "Why didn't you answered my phone?"

"Didn't I say that I'm very busy and have no time to eat with you?"

"I asked your secretary. They said that you didn't have anything important today but you said you were very busy and didn't even have time to eat. Why did you lie to me?" Mi So's face was darkened.

"Don't you think you care too much about me?"

"You are my son. It is only right for me to care about you." Mi So's words made sense.

"I am your son. I thought I was your pet." Taehyung was in a bad mood. His words were very sharp.

"If you want to control me, why don't you lock me up at home with a chain? That way, I will be under your watch all day. You don't need to spend so much effort."

His words made Mi So speechless, but Taehyung ignored her and went upstairs.

The next day. Taehyung was not in the mood to work. He drove to the residencial area where Y/n live. Unexpectedly, he saw Noah playing ball on the lawn alone in the park. Taehyung felt his heart soften when he saw Noah. He was not the kind of person who particularly liked children, but when he saw Noah, he felt very warm and comfortable. That familiar feeling surprised him. He thought that it was probably because he loved Y/n that he liked her son as well.
