By the way, I don't know how to skateboard, sooooo yeah.

Percy had his hands on her waist and she shrieked again, her heart skipping a beat as she lost her balance.

"I can't Percy!" Annabeth cried and Percy rolled his eyes, helping Annabeth up from the ground.

"Yes you can, it's not that hard to skateboard, it's all in balance," Percy said calmly, and Annabeth wondered how he managed not to yell at her. "Let's try it again."

"I can't believe I let you talk me into this," Annabeth muttered, placing her right foot on the board, Percy's right foot behind hers.

"Ready?" He said and Annabeth nodded knowing she wasn't. Before he set forth he stopped. "Wait let's try something else!"

"What??" Annabeth complained and Percy smirked getting off the skateboard.

"Try it yourself!" He said and Annabeth widened her eyes.

"Uhhhhh..."

"I'll hold your hand dummy," Percy said rolling his eyes. Percy held Annabeth's hands tightly and secure while Annabeth stood their not knowing what to do. "Come one Wise Girl..." He encouraged, willing to stay here all night for her. Annabeth bit her lip and let her left foot skid carefully against the cement. Percy nodded, and Annabeth did it again, putting so much force onto Percy's hand to keep from losing balance.

"Put both of your feet on the board." Percy said all teacher-y. Annabeth nodded and did as so, lasting five seconds before the board tilted and she stumbled off.

"Well that was a start." Percy said catching her from her shoulders. Annabeth groaned and hit her head on his chest.
".....Wanna continue tomorrow?" Percy laughed still holding up noodle Annabeth. Annabeth immediately got out of his grasp and groaned.

"Ugh do we have to?!" She exclaimed and Percy laughed again.

"Now you know how I feel every time you tutor me for math." Annabeth scowled.

"Whatever it's entirely-"

"PERCY MAN WHAT'S UP!?" They both heard and turned towards the voice. A boy came up to them and Percy scooted closer to Annabeth, and she frowned wondering who the guy was.

"Hey man." Percy greeted, a small grin on his face.

"Listen, wanna skate board with us? Travis, Nico, Jason, and the rest are...oh right there!" The guy exclaimed walking over and Annabeth saw Percy's eyes lighten. Annabeth smiled.

"Hey go skate with them," she whispered to him and Percy looked at her with wide eyes.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah! Why not? Hey I'll watch you alright, I'll sit there," Annabeth laughed pointing to the bench on the side. Percy looked hesitant and she rolled her eyes, pushing him.

"Just go," Percy quickly kissed her forehead and Annabeth pushed him away.

"Thanks Wise Girl, only a few." Percy smirked and Annabeth smiled, ignoring her heartbeat. Percy ran towards the boys who greeted him while Annabeth walked over to the bench, taking out her phone.

Annabeth laughed at Thalia's messages and texted her back, telling her she was at the skating park.

Thalia: why??
Annabeth: Percy was teaching me how to skate board (im failing) and rn he's with his friends
Thalia: your alone?
Annabeth: no Thalia he's right in front of me
Annabeth: chill😂
Thalia: Mhm so have you told him you liked him yet?
