Hero Gala invites

Dusty POV
I was busy typing away my latest report when suddenly both Kiri and TesuTesu comes crashing through my door in a heep while Tamaki walks in calmly behind them both
"Hey kids what's up?" I ask giggle at the mass on limbs that was now on my floor
"We wanted to give you this!" They both say holding up a small envelope with my hero name on it.
"hmmm what's that?" I ask reaching over my desk and grabbing it
"I assuming it's your invite to the hero gala at the end of the month " Taishiro says ducking to get through my door
"Oh fun!" I groan
"Why you not excited mom? TesuTesu get your foot out of my face" kiri asks still on the floor
"Get your face off my foot!" TesuTesu argues back
"Because getting all dressed up ain't my thing baby boulder!"
"But mom we're all going!" Kiri smiles and I cock my one eyebrow
"Haha yeah...my invite said +3 because they known about our work studies" Taishiro chuckles bending down and untangling TesuTesu and Kirishima.
"Uhhhh alright fine I'll go" I groan and all 4 boys smile at me.
"Crap now i need to get a dress sorted" I think to myself and wonder exactly where I could get a dress from in a month that will fit me and not make me want to throw up!
A couple of days had passed and suddenly the offers from different designers came through into my emails begging me to let them make my hero gala dress. However one email stands out...one from Kikiyodesignsandboutique cocking my one eyebrow I figured it was just a coincidence but when I click to open it my stomach drops and I am in pure shock to the point where i even text Tai to come and look

"Okay so what am I looking at?" Tai asks as he opens my door and walks around my computer. I re open to message and wait for him to read

Hey sweetie!

This is Kikiyo! I don't know if you remember me from when you Taishiro visited his parents...look I know we got off on the wrong foot but I saw that you were on the line up for hero gala this year and you would be doing my small business a big favour if you would let me design your dress!!!!
However you may need to loose a couple of pounds so the dress looks good okay!?

"Is she for fucking real!?" Tai says clearly angry
"I know..."
Ring ring
The sudden presence of an unknown number appearing on my screen caught both mine and Tai's attention. I shrug my shoulders before putting it on loud speaker and answering it
"Hello?" I say confused
"Hi Dusty...this is Suzuno...Taishiro's mother" the voice says and my eyes go wide and Taishiro looks just as confused as I do
"Listen Kikiyo just said she emailed you about making your hero gala dress and I think you should let her do it...you know as a way of an apology..." she then says

"Wait as in she apologises to me or the other way around?" I question
"Well she didn't really do anything Dusty it was you who causes a scene..." his mother says and I honestly can not believe it right now
"Look Mrs. Toyomitsu with all due respect I own her no apology...especially when she is implying in her email that I need to lose weight" I say trying to keep clam
"Well to be fair honey I'm sure a few pounds wouldn't kill you...I mean I know my son is called Fatgum but in his usual form he's a well built young man...I don't think he really wants a chubby girlfriend..." she says and I feel the tears run down my face
"Alright mom that's enough!" Taishiro hisses and his mother stops talking
"T...Taishiro I didn't realise you were here..." she says

"Oh but you think it's okay to bully my girlfriend when I'm not around!" He says harshly to her
"I...I'm not bullying her" she argues
"Right okay so she's say here crying for no reason!? You are seriously un-fucking-believable!" He says
"T...Taishiro sweetie listen I'm..." she starts but he cuts her off
"Look mom I meant what i said...unless you apologise to Dusty for the way to treated her i don't want anything to do with you.you care more about what you want then what I want...so I suggest you leave my girlfriend alone and don't both contacting us unless the next words out of your mouth is sorry!" He says hanging up the phone and blocking her number from my phone. I wipe my eyes
"Sorry gummy she is unbelievable!" He sighs but I shake my head
"N...no it's fine don't worry..." I say sadly
"No it's not..." he sighs pulling me into a hug but being careful to not absorb me in his fat

Hanzo Toyomitsu is calling....

His father's name appeared on my phone and I slide it up
"H..hello?" I stutter out
"Dusty I would like to apologise for my wife and Kikiyo who for some reason feel like they were the ones wronged!" I hear him yell the last part obviously at his wife
"I...it's okay" i say wiping my eyes again
"No it's not and I'm so sorry...i left my phone in attended and my selfish wife got your number from my phone. Don't worry she won't contact you again unless she decides to grow up and apologise!" He yells again and I can't help but giggle while wiping my eyes
"Ahah thanks dad" Tai smiles
"Anyway I gotta go I left Ryota unattended...oh by the way that new schedule that you came up with has been a god sent! Love you both bye" he says before hanging up and I giggle again.
"Well at least your dad and brother like me!" I giggle
"Haha yeah they love you" Tai chuckles
"She is right though I mean I could probably loo..." I start to say before he claps a big hand around my mouth
"Nope do not even finish that sentence...I swear you even consider losing weight and you'll be in trouble little lady" he scolds me playfully and I giggle a little before rolling my eyes
"Okay okay!" I say in a muffled voice making us both laugh.

A little while later I notice an email from someone I had gone to high school with who now runs a small shop on etsy selling beautiful hand made dresses asking if she could make my dress for the hero gala and i decided to go along with it. I sent her all my measurements and after discussing what colours i wanted...obviously i said i needed to be black I said she could have free reign over what style and shape which made her very excited and I was excited to see what she comes up with!
