Lily rolls her eyes at Hailee. "If you're going to keep teasing me, I'm going to call Kevin and retract the Hawkeye offer."
"Noooo," Hailee is quick to backtrack. "I'm sorry! I'll stop making fun of you and your simpworthy proposal."
"Okay, I'm calling Kevin –"
"Stop being mean," Lizzie scowls, taking a seat with two cups in hand. "And I'm talking to both of you. Lily's proposal was sweet and I couldn't ask for anything better. It really touched my heart."
"She's just jealous she doesn't have what we have," Lily scoffs. She leans over and kisses Lizzie on the cheek, thanking her for the drink.
"Hey, don't make fun of me and my single ass," Hailee states. "I'm focusing on my baby Martini and her love life before my own. I'm a good mom."
"Martini has more game than you do," Lily teases. "Both our dogs have more game than you do."
Their order is called and Lizzie is quick to jump to her feet and grab their mac and cheese. Lizzie returns in a moment and sets each box down in front of its respective hungry devours of mac and cheese.
"Oh that looks so cheesy and gooey," Lily moans, her mouth watering at the sight. She stands but is stopped by Lizzie with a hand on her arm. "What?"
"Where are you going?"
"I'm getting hot sauce," Lily answer.
"I'll get it," Lizzie says and is quick to jump up and return to the trailer for some hot sauce packs.
Hailee gives Lily a questioning look. "Aren't you usually the one who princesses Lizzie?"
Lily leans on her hand and shrugs. "She's been like this ever since she returned from filming. She hasn't let me lift a finger."
"Because you proposed?"
Lily shrugs again. "More like she feels guilty for trying to break us up, I think. I'm being pampered and coddled like no tomorrow."
Hailee giggles. "That's not a bad thing."
"It isn't," Lily agrees and leans in. "I'm getting laid every night and I get all the cuddles I want. If this is married life, I want it right now."
"Ew, please don't give me any details," Hailee says, making a face of disgust.
Lily snickers and pokes at her meal. "I'm not complaining. Some people would say I let her off too easy –"
"You did," Hailee interjects. "She almost ruined a three year relationship and didn't bring the issue to you when she should have. Partners should work together, not one making the decision that affects the fate of another."
"And you didn't tell this to her at that time because...?"
"You didn't see her because you were too busy in the hospital with alcohol poisoning," Hailee says, clearly a pointed jab at Lily, "but there was no way to change her mind."
Lily nods. "She spent a few months thinking about her decision. Those were rough days. I'm just glad everything is over." At that moment, Lizzie returns with packs of hot sauce and drops them on the table. "And I have a beautiful woman I can call my fiancee."
"What are we talking about that I deserve such a compliment?" Lizzie asks.
"Just that I'm going to be living the rest of my days loving you," Lily hums, pecking Lizzie's sweet, sweet lips.
"Oh, that's disgustingly cute," Hailee says and fakes a gag.
Lizzie giggles and nudges Lily with her shoulder to warn her about the PDA, which only spurs Lily's mischief further and kisses her more passionately, wrapping Lizzie's entire body into her arms, locking her in place so that any resistance becomes futile.
