So how did he propose ?

The next day Charlie was straight round to Dec and Ali's house with Stephen to talk about the engagement. She knocked on the door and Ali opened it and she grabbed Charlie in her arms.

Charlie" Hey Ali"

Ali" Come in, come in we have to talk, your nan is here"

Charlie" Oooo I'm coming, I'm coming"

Ali" Ant and Deccy are in the kitchen Stephen"

Stephen" Thanks"

Charlie smiled at Stephen as he headed for the kitchen and Charlie sat down in the living room but not before giving her nan a hug.

Anne" Oh Charlie my love I knew it, I said didn't I after kissing all those frogs you would find your prince"

Charlie" He is my prince, I'm so happy, the happiest I've ever been in my entire life"

Ali" I know what you mean I felt the same when I got engaged to Deccy I just loved him so much"

Anne" Same with your grandfather, so have you set a date yet?"

Charlie" Not quite yet to be honest I am still trying to get used to the fact that I am engaged"

Ali" Sooooo, how did he propose?"

Charlie" Well, we went to the park in the snow and he pretended there was a robin in the tree, then when I turned around he was on one knee"

Anne and Ali" Awwwwww!"

Charlie" I don't think we could of got a more romantic setting, I felt so special, so loved and so warm inside"

Ali" Oh Charlie"

Both Anne and Ali hug her.

Meanwhile Ant,Dec and Stephen were chatting away in the kitchen and were both congratulating Stephen.

Stephen" Dec can I have your blessing to marry your daughter"

Dec" Of course Stephen, I wouldn't want anyone else to marry my daughter"

Ant" Congrats man!"

Back in the living room Anne and Ali are still chatting excitably away to Charlie.

Anne" There will be so much to sort out like this is going to keep you very busy"

Charlie" I know it will, I've been to three weddings and I know how much hard work they are but its all one big great pay off in the end isn't it"

Anne" Oh course it is, weddings are the most stressful events to plan but it does all come together on that one day"

Charlie" I want you to promise me something"

Ali" Of course"

Anne" What is it?"

Charlie" If I start to become a bridezilla you have to tell me, I don't want to be one of those people that ends up on a reddit thread or in a youtube video"

Anne" I'm not sure what any of that is but sure right Ali?"

Ali" Of course I would never let my daughter become a bridezilla"

Charlie" Well you are a brilliant mam so I believe that"

Ant,Dec and Stephen then enter and Ant comes over for a hug.

Ant" Congrats Little D, I'm so happy for you"

Charlie" Thanks Ant, I am happy for me too"

Ant" I actually have a little confession to make"

Everyone looks at Ant.

Ant" I may have known about this"

Charlie" What, how?"

Ant" I went shopping with Stephen and along with Holly we helped picked the ring"

Charlie" Wait Holly knew too, wow she kept it quiet usually she can't keep a secret"

Dec" I can't believe you never told me"

Ant" Believe me it was hard but I wanted you to be surprised when Charlie told you Stephen had proposed"

Dec" Yeah I was surprised and so so happy"

Charlie" Well I am sure of one thing I want for the wedding"

Stephen" What is that?"

Charlie" Isla to be flower girl she has to be"

Dec" I think that's a lovely idea, what do you think Ali?"

Ali" She will look so cute and I want you to know we are all here for you and whatever you need"

Ant" We will make this best wedding for you Little D and Stephen"

Charlie" Thanks, I love you so much"

Stephen" I love you too"

Dec" To Charlie and Stephen"

All" To Charlie and Stephen!"
