    Mga stores sa Boracay

    Reklamo ko lang mga stores dito sa Boracay.
    We’ve visited Boracay 6x since it opened during the pandemic. Super nainlove talaga ako sa Bora since my first visit kaya naman balik kami ng balik.
    6th day namin today, and I overheard a kabayan tourist na nagrereklamo sa seller ng Potato Corner.
    Nag tatanong kasi si Kabayan saan okay kumain dito ng hindi mahal, at halos lahat ng restaurants target market are foreigner. One appetizer would costs a minimum ₱300 while a main course would costs a min of ₱450. Tapos drinks pa na ₱150-₱200.
    Sabi ni Kabayan 15 daw sila nagtravel dito kasama family nya at nakakagulat daw na lahat dito ganyan presyo. Ang mababa lang ay yung Jasper at Kolai Mangyan na ₱100-₱150 per order or below.
    Nagpaluto kami kahapon. Ito ang presyo
    Pampano ₱1,200/kilo
    Sugpo medium ₱900/kilo
    Sugpo large ₱1,700/kilo
    Crabs ₱480 per 200grams
    Paluto per ulam ₱200
    Pampano in palengke sa Qc is ₱300/kilo
    Sugpo ₱450/kilo (m) ₱750/kilo (large)
    Sobrang nakakaiyak presyo dito. Pero syempre para maenjoy ang bakasyon, kain ka pa din.
    Btw ang seafood buffet sa Henann Crystal Sands ay ₱1,150/head lang. Di lang guaranteed na andon gusto mong makain like the crabs and shrimp. Last time we tried it wala kasi kaya di na kami umulit. Mas mura pa kay Henann kaysa sa paluto ng local 🥹
    Tapos sama mo pa mga souvenir stores. Napansin ko yung mga dress na nabili ko nung April last year na ₱350 eh ₱850 na ngayon. Sinuyod ko mula Station 1 to station 3 para iinquire yung same dress. Lahat sila ₱850 ang benta. It looks like mandated na sya. May isang seller na binulungan ako “₱350 na lang sayo. Wag ka maingay ha.” Nagulat ako sabi ko “₱350?!” Sabi nya “Wag ka maingay!” 
    Sadly, Grabe price increase dito. And kawawa local tourists especially those na big groups kung mag tatravel.
    Kami ni husband nakabudget kami at least ₱5k per day for food alone. Not everyone has the means to pay for that amount. 
    The thing is wala kang magagawa kasi if you want to eat good food, bibili ka talaga. If you want to enjoy your vacation gagastos ka talaga. 🫠
    PS: This reklamo is for my concern sa kababayan natin na on a budget kung mag travel. Sayang lang kasi hindi catered sa Pinoy ang karamihan dito sa Boracay. 💔
