"Why the hell is it so hot out here?! It's only spring." Max questions, her head going back to try and get some air blown on her neck. It is almost a 95 degree day, Max and Eleven walk through a open beautiful field, holding baskets of food and a blanket as well. They both decided to come to Mike's and Lucas workplace to eat with them on their lunch break. They do work hard, they work for hours and hours outside with the large lawn and growing crops, but at the end of the day it makes good money.
"Look at the flowers, it is beautiful. The sun nurture's the flowers, trees, pretty much everything." Eleven smiles, holding the blankets in her hand while looking around the beautiful landscape in awe. After all her years of seeing landscapes like this she cannot get over it. Eleven has seen cities before, she has been in Illinois twice but she would definitely pick the country rural areas over the city anytime. It is much more nature to enjoy and look at to admire, it is a vast look of the bright green grass and different colored flowers, and the many stars that fill the stars at night. Eleven even twirls around a little, her blue floral sundress twirling along with her.
Max on the other hand shakes her head while she still walks, holding two baskets in her hands. She wears her hair in a high ponytail, also wearing a simple white T shirt and blue shorts. "How can you smile when we are about to turn into bacon out here?"
"Okay Dustin." Eleven says while giving a playful eye roll.
"Hey I'm not that dramatic." Max counters, her and Eleven laughing lightly while walking.
Eleven looks at the small photo in her hand before looking out at the landscape. "We are here." Eleven mentions, bending down to put the blankets down on the grass.
Max sits down, putting down the baskets and beginning to take out the sandwiches and chips and fruits out of the basket.
"How many sandwiches did you make?" Eleven questions, seeing all of the sandwiches Max pulls out.
"Have you seen how much Lucas eats?" Max smiles, taking out some fresh strawberries and grapes as well.
Eleven shrugs, knowing that to be true. "Three o clock, they should be coming now."
Max nods, taking out a water and beginning to drink some of it, the cool substance hitting her throat and her immediately feeling refreshed. "Oh here they are." Max comments while pointing at them, seeing both of them walking towards them. "Why does Mike have his shirt off?" Max questions, her eyes squinting while looking at Mike walk while talking to Lucas, his shirt over his shoulder.
"I don't know, he looks great though." Eleven smiles, still looking ahead of her.
Max looks down a little while giving a face. "Yep." She mentions sarcastically.
"I'm pretty sure a mosquito bit me on my ass." Mike comments simply, the sweat clearly coating his upper body while he walks, running his hand through his hair.
"I don't see how." Lucas mentions, him wearing a blue muscle shirt with sweat clearly on the top of it and on his armpit areas and stomach and him wearing black shorts that comes to his knees. "I'm pretty sure I got one on my arm." Lucas says, looking at his arm, feeling it itch a little.
"I just need to eat, I'm hot and irritated." Mike mentions.
"Well you're in luck, the girls are already here." Lucas says while pointing at them, seeing Max and Eleven wave at them.
"Thank goodness! I wish Dustin and Suzie can join us." Mike says.
"Yeah, too bad their lunch breaks are earlier than ours." Lucas says before they finally get to the girls, both of them sitting down on the blanket across from them. "Hey." Lucas greets to the both of them, him and Max giving each other a soft kiss, Eleven and Mike doing the same.
