4 Months later....

"Alright class you have all class period to finish the test. Take your time check your answers and good luck, time starts now." Lucas says, all of them putting their pencils in their hands and beginning to start the test. Lucas goes to sit down at his desk, going to lean back in his chair while rolling the small bouncy ball in his hand.

It has been a busy but good four months, things are picking up for both Max and Lucas work. Max is getting more requests on articles as well as Nancy so they are both busy working on multiple articles, plus everyday Max checks up on the progress on the house. She forces Lucas and the others to not see the house until it is done because she wants it all to be a surprise, she didn't even show them blueprints whenever the construction team started to build the house, she wanted it all to be a surprise for them.

For Lucas since basketball season is beginning to start they have been working harder in practice and him and Robert have been having more staff meetings after the school day, some of the meetings running for hours. Not only that Lucas and Robert wants the team prepared for the first game they will be playing against a team that is really good and have really good coordination with their games. There are times where Lucas and Robert would stay in the office watching tapes of the team to see what they could be doing better. Lucas loves getting the team prepared and also teaching his Math class, but sometimes the work can drain him.

Lucas hates it but he leans forward in his chair and begins to grade the homework assignments that he assigned to the class a few days ago. He moves around his head a little, trying to pop his neck. The hard work in practice and Lucas of course participating in it definitely makes his muscles sore as well, but at the end of the day Lucas loves his job and he wouldn't change it for anything.

The door to the classroom burst open making the whole class and Lucas look up. Henry's eyes are only set on Lucas and Lucas only. "I am gone taking a vacation in another country and I come back to hear that you were almost murdered?!" Henry exclaims loudly.

Oh yeah.....that.

When Lucas finally came back to work everyone was waiting for him to cross the doors before they all surrounded him with hugs and billions of questions since they all saw the news. Lucas honestly had no choice but to hold a meeting in the auditorium to explain things to everyone and what happened. Of course Lucas didn't tell them that it was all orchestrated but everything else was said, and apart from Chester getting his ass kicked of course.

"Henry!" Lucas scolds, him motioning towards the class.

"No look man I need to know what the heck is going on I mean I hauled ass up here and I don't even want to go to class until I hear what happened man! Like...what?!" Henry exclaims.

"It was Max's dad." One guy says in the classroom.

"Hey everyone focus." Lucas says to the class, him turning to Henry next. "Come on outside." Lucas says, him and Henry making their way out of the classroom, Lucas closing the door behind him.

"What the hell happened? You were almost murdered?!"

"Yes Henry I was almost murdered." Lucas says simply while rubbing his face.

"Why are you saying that so simply?!"

"Because Henry it happened now it is in the past, it is what it is." Lucas responds. "And to answer your question yes it was Max's father, long story short Max had a trust fund he wanted it I pose a threat since I was her husband and he wanted to off me." Lucas states simply.
